Avila... Buffalo Tipping

You Yankees may not have heard of Cow Tipping because it's a Southern Thang.

But now, Avila has stepped it up by a mile with Buffalo Tipping (and the Buffaloes are awake).

Rich Eisen's 2024 ReDraft - Top 10

So, you think McVay prefers more of a move TE? If Higbee is an indicator, then he wants a guy that blocks well and can catch/run.

I think Warren is similar but more athletic than Kraft. I can't say with Mayer, I've never seen him play. Warren runs routes well And he gets separation like move TEs do.

If Warren had come out in the draft last year, he's the PSU TE I wanted the Rams to draft. I know you think this is all Kotelnicki, but the year before when Kotelnicki wasn't at Penn State, Warren split time with two other drafted TEs (Theo Johnson and Brenton Strange) I thought he was the best of the three despite not being the featured guy and not being as athletic as Johnson. I'm not saying Warren is as good as Bowers. Bowers has unusual speed and still can block.

Andy Kotelnicki said that Tyler Warren is the smartest player he's ever coached. That includes every position. That is the type of player McVay likes in his pass game.
Yes. Maybe he's evolved, but I can't help but to go back to his first draft choice, Gerald Everett with Higbee & Johnny Mundt already on the roster. Since then there has been the likes of Brycen Hopkins, Jacob Harris, Davis Allen and the rumored interest in Dalton Kincaid and Brock Bowers.

I could be wrong, but I really believe that if the Rams used a 1st round pick on a TE (After the free agency expenditure on Colby Parkinson), McVay would want someone like Jordan Reed who he had in Washington. Someone with some quicks and speed, who could eventually replace Cooper Kupp as a matchup problem in the slot.

I would love for the Rams to get Warren. I'm just having a hard time seeing them use a 1st rounder on him.

GAME DAY Bills at Rams Game Day Thread

Well yeah, the eagles can run the ball well.. but we gave up 314 yards rushing. That's bad for a college team.. We also gave up 231 yards rushing to the cardinals earlier this year. The run defense has been good a few games but besides that it is been pretty poor. It's a defense in the process of being rebuilt so yes we must be patient - but also we need to call a spade a spade.
Nobody's making excuses for them here. They are better right now at stopping the run than they were in the first matchup vs SF. Guys are more settled in their roles. Brown is playing far better. Good rotation off the bench with Fiske and company.

Doesn't mean any more than that. We know this is a bad defense. But the Rams matched up well vs SF earlier this year defensively and I think will do so again. And our offense is in far better shape up front on top of that.

Snaps vs Buf

This is too narrow IMO.

Tutu is a good middle-of-the-field target but he's also a vertical threat with his speed. For whatever reason, though, the timing with Stafford on his deep routes has always been off. Stafford typically underthrows him.

But even in the Bills game, his speed helped. I forgot what Brady called it but they ran him on deep routes where they ran 3 WRs to one side - one deep, one intermediate, and one shallow. Atwell's speed helps clear out space for the intermediate read that Stafford kept going to.
Sail route.

If he was so effective he’d be the number 3 receiver.

GAME DAY TNF - Packers at Lions

I'm a genius.....awww thanks, I think hahaha
Well El Chapo -

DID YOU WATCH THE BILLS RAMS GAME ??? River boat gambler ??

Maybe Mcvay isn’t that & when it comes to winning a game he basically didn’t have much of a choice - SAD —

But glad what a WIN !!! Going for it & trusting Stafford. For all the TUTU HATERS - he is still clutch.

Puka & Kupp both had 2 TD’s each.Still that was nearly not enough to win.

GAME DAY The Late Games - Week 14

I don't hate Thomas Brown. But for all praise McVay showered on him I was perennially irritated by his RB room. I never liked our RB development either. And he didn't do shit for our run game in general.

Then he went to the Panthers where he was working for a known WCO gameplanner and was part of an ineffective offense. After being given the play calling shit wasn't any better.

Due to the ineffectiveness of his offense in Carolina he had to take a job downgrade with the Bears, with pass game coordinator duties. It predictably sucked, given that the pass game coordinator has never really put a good product on the field not to mention he had a rookie QB who was gonna need to fuck up to learn. After Waldron was predictably axed hey what do you know another opportunity for Thomas Brown. And then Eberflus was fired and what do you know Thomas Brown wins again.

That Bears team we saw today, unfortunately demonstrates that at some point no matter how good you are at escaping blame the shit will catch up to you. Again I don't hate the dude. I am just bewildered why he is held in such high regard. His entire run of opportunity post-McVay makes zero sense to me.

Rams crush Whoville - Media Fallout

Well, they might not have prepared for the Cards like they preped for the Lions. They did lose to them in a close game in the playoffs and I am sure it was their focus in the offseason. I would call that game a classic trap game. So we will add that to the list with the other things mentioned. Just one more reason they will beat the cards.

The Rams are not the same team that played the Cards earlier.
Nope...they're far from the team that played the Cards earlier and the secondary is better. To tell the truth, I was stunned by that loss...even with the injuries, I thought the Rams could take it...but when you can't get pressure on mobile QB... your secondary can't cover forever.

It's gonna be interesting this time, because *most likely* the winner of the West will be the only team in the playoffs!

Going snow boarding in the morning, never been need advice!

Haha thanks for all the responses and advice!

Headed to Santa Fe and worked well into the afternoon where I hunkered down in the bar and drank the rest of the day! lol The rest of the young bastards I went with were professionals doing flips and all this dumb shit. I did decent but it makes zero sense mentally to me with your legs locked in! lol Totally more used to having independent skies and being able to be a bit more maneuverable in a close proximity.

Also, let me know I need to get my dumb ass in the gym again. Slipping a bit and at the end of the day before the bar it was getting hard to get myself up. lol

Man I miss being fucking young... it's a sad thing seeing your body naturally degenerate over time. fml

Dec 7th, 1941. "A date which will live in infamy."

WWII has always fascinated me. It was not a war we were clearly the biggest and baddest. Things coulda happened differently if not for some good turns of fate in certain battles. Imagine if Japan decided to continue to the west coast after bombing Pearl Harbor? We didn't have enough defenses to stop them at the time.
We had the 2nd Amendment. That’s why nobody invades us in an act of war.
