How can Cowboys/Bears be Game of the Week?

I know that the NFL loves pushing the Cowboys down everyone's throat but you have a game this week involving two 2-0 teams that played a classic playoff game last year and you shove it to 1 pm.

The Rams/Eagles should be either the 4:25 game or a prime time game.

This is ridiculous.
It’s ridiculous. But then so was the season opener between the Eagles and the Cowboys. Completely absurd..

Which QB should the Rams draft in the 1st Round next year?

Huh?
Stafford thru for 5k yards and 41 TD in his 3rd season, Lawrence hasnt been anything close to that
I'm not disputing anything you put up, just simply posting their stats for more depth. My only comment is Lawrence hasn't been too shabby stat wise but too may INTs. Not many Staffords out there. Would be curious to see McVay coach Lawrence, could see his play elevate a bit. With that said, got to enjoy greats like Stafford, they don't come around often.

PREGAME Rams at Eagles Pregame Thread - Stopping The Tush Push?

So call a false start! How Hard is that?!

Well, I think what he was saying is that the refs cannot see the play clearly. The bunched together lineup of the O-Line and the rest of the offense is like nothing else we've seen. Goal line offense lineups still gave the possibility of the pass to keep the defense honest. The lineup used for this play is like nothing else we've ever seen.

The offensive tackles are actually lined up in a way that does block the view of the guards. They are the biggest players on the field as we know... their bodies and giant melons can easily conceal the normal view of the inner O-Line from the refs who are staring down the line of scrimmage from each side of the field. Even if this is happening by accident, it blocks the view of the guards. But is it by accident? I would say so if just one of the guards jumped a little bit early... but what we see now is both guards jumping early like a precision dance move while being concealed by the biggest bookends of humans on the planet.

This comes from a ref who was at the highest level possible. He was the person sharing that the play is impossible to ref. We all can see that he is being 100 % honest in his description of what's happening on that play. It's not an excuse or fantasy... it's the truth.

Pushing the ball carrier forward from behind was illegal in football my whole life until they changed that common sense rule in the last few years. That was a terrible mistake.

In the meantime, I recommend that we sign a little person to the team for what could be our special version of this anti-football play. Let's just find the smallest little person we can find... when we need a yard for a first down or are being stood up on the goal line.... bring in our little dude and have him jump into the arms of our strongest player so that he can literally toss his whole body while he's holding the ball completely over the heads and hands of the defensive players. That is basically the same bastardization of the spirit of football as we're seeing now with this bs play. Seriously.

This isn't a football play... it's a way to cheat the spirit of the game. Pushing ball carriers forward from behind with your biggest dudes is blasphemy to the spirit of the sport. These fucks Philly have it down to a ballroom worthy dance move that was designed to hide the offsides of their guards purposefully jumping into the defense. It's total bullshit.

OFFICIAL 2025 NFL News: Trades, cuts, free agency, and more

That is fucking bullshit. This joker should've been suspended for at least one more game. He has a history of off-the-field actions that are detrimental to the NFL's code of conduct (I think indirectly causing two people to die because of his DUI street racing should've at least gotten serious jail time.), and the guy has shown zero remorse for his actions and a level of immaturity that astonishes me.

And now he spit in someone's face - again, without even an apology to Dak or even his team. If you, me, or Billy Bob Joe down the street did it, we'd be facing criminal charges. And he gets fined with money he wipes his ass with, sets on fire, and laughs about it as the biggest suspension?

I think that's the worst joke of all. This clown does not belong on an NFL field after what he did and what he continues to do. Period.
You don't know if he has remorse or not.
The judgement was about this incident that was on the field. Two separate things.
Judging one player in a vindictive way that others may not be is a bad idea.
$60 grand for a little spit.....thats fine, no pun intended.

Rams sign CB Tre Brown

I wonder why he isn't on a team. Was he really that bad? There almost has to be a reason, a young talented former 1st rounder....if Forbes found us...someone should find him...unless he is pricing himself out or injured perhaps.
Injury, not performance.

Alaric Jackson health watch

I believe our heavyweight asses are due primarily to eating processed food.

I went to France two years ago and I saw one - count em - one French person overweight.

And that was looking at ALL age groups.

Processed food is killing us.

I know they walk a lot more but I know people who do about the same amount of walking and are still overweight.
That and sugary drinks, corn syrup based drinks. Gives you essentially a sugar gut, like a beer gut.

Rams PFF grades: Best and worst performers vs. Titans

Hate to beat a dead horse, but, we certainly could have used that Kyren extension money on more important players (i.e. Young, Puka, Turner, Landman, etc.)
More important players? The last 2 years when kyren has not played or has been out of the game, the offense stalled. We all saw it and noted it. And now he isn't important? It was a great signing. It was a bargain. All of those players didn't need signing this year. SMH

QB 2026

Klatt has Mateer at no 1; Beck 2; and Dante Moore 3

"Their offense has already moved to a point where it was with Bo Nix in his second year rather than where it was with Dillon Gabriel last year, in terms of the intricacies, what the quarterback is going to handle at the line of scrimmage … he’s [Moore] handling all of that. He’s got that preparation side. Then, the skill jumps off the tape for me. I think he’s excellent and this guy’s going to New York."

Rams revealed: Emmanuel Forbes

Forbes is an easy guy to root for. Excellent pickup by the Rams.
His punch out showed off his talent as a CB.I’ve felt he started off a little scared & cautious.

Seeing him get that punch out & his confidence build should only do wonders. I love the way he has always believed in himself, and by getting cut ,going through adversity is only going to make him better.

His heart & trust in Mcvay & The Rams is real Kool 2 see. He is humble & shows grace. There is that in these players & there SO many examples on this TEAM!!

Ahkello has been The Leader of this (CB)DB group.Like the way E.Forbes is talking to the opportunity of being The Man at CB.Heard a Podcaster sort of show his lack of knowledge towards certain things.Heard was a poster around here & gives good 411,but saying Forbes is The number 3 CB against PHILLY!! What Ahkello has done is been able to defend the bigger WR’s like a AJ Brown. Ahkello admitted he has trouble with say a D.Smith(T.Hill) type players.
IMO - Forbes will & can do some off those same things.D.Williams is underrated still. He should be able to do the same things he always has. Colbie Durant has from DAY 1 been a ball hawk.Seen it many of times in training camp, especially his rookie year when doubting his size.In ZONE he finds a way to catch the ball,be in position to defend.

ROD (and reel) Fishing Thread

One of my friends is down in Guatemala on a fishing trip right now. He caught a fish that I have always wanted to catch but I'm still looking for my first one. It's a Rooster fish. Their dorsal fins are so wild. It's not a fish for eating, it's a fish that puts up a battle royal when you hook one. I'd love to catch one and get it mounted. They are so cool looking to me...
