Which QB should the Rams draft next year and where?

I agree Goff's issues were on the mental side. But I also think Simpson's inability to start until his senior season speaks to that side of things to some extent.

Also I think it matters how well Stafford played last season. He's in a year to year type deal at this point with the Rams, so if he has a down year he's gonna be done in horns. And that's good for him.

But for the Rams do you really want to waste a high pick on a QB when it could be argued that it's wiser to go all in with Stafford to win that second title. Just seems like when you total everything up, from the questions surrounding Simpson to the way Stafford's playing to the benefits of that pick translating into an impact player... It's unlikely at best.
I disagree:

Goff's issues were in two parts:

1. Goff's throwing thumb was in bad shape and it didn't completely recover after having surgery... So yes that would mentally affect any QB in the NFL.
2. McVay being an immature coach (at the time) didn't know how to handle the situation and rather try and work through it decided to go with a veteran QB.

Anybody have a Salt Water Fish Tank?

I miss mine A LOT!

Have wanted to do it again but prior to retirement, would spend 8 months in PA and 4 months in SW FLA. Now that I'm here practically year round, I may do it again. But the issue is getting someone to feed them when I take trips.

Yes, the affects of the therapy are wonderful.

Funny, I started with fresh water and had a room full of tanks. I would go in there and sit on the couch and just RELAX.

LOLOLOLOL

Both of my twins have multiple tanks. One only has 4, and they are all freshwater. Each tank holds fish from specific geographic locations. All of his tanks are planted with live plants and some of them grow out of the tank and hang down under the tank or grow up straight and tall above the tank. The other twin has 5 total tanks... one of his is saltwater and he keeps both live corals and fish together in it. All of his are in his bedroom and his lights are timed so he falls asleep before the lights turn off.

One of the very best fish stores in the country for saltwater is here in the Orlando area. People in South Florida drive up here to buy all of their live creatures... Top Shelf Aquatics. You'll want drive up and get your fish there once you have been there.

Get yourself a great tank service guy. Most of those guys will handle your feeding too.

LEGEND The "Last Thing I Bought" Thread

My son just ordered me this Mini PC. Attaches to the back of a standard monitor, comes with a 1 terabyte hard drive, WiFi, Blue Tooth, 4k display, dual HDMI, and is fast. It does more than my big ole tower and cost about $250. I just ordered an amp for it for $40 so I can power my bookshelf Klipsch speakers with it. Stupid small. View attachment 74590
Got one of these for the big screen, to stream stuff that Roku doesn't....

'cept my hate for Windows runs so deep, planning to build Linux on it soon..

Let the hate flow. .. :laugh2:

The St. Louis Cardinals MegaThread.

Brendan Donovan has been dealt to the Seattle Mariners in a three-team trade including the Tampa Bay Rays for a top-100 prospect (Jurrangelo Cijntje - pronounced "Sain-juh, Mariners"), an outfielder who could be a top-100 prospect if he cuts down on the swing-and-miss (Tai Peete, Mariners), a fourth outfielder with decent speed (Colton Ledbetter, Rays) and two Comp B. picks from both the Mariners and Rays (projected at #68 and #72).

I love this trade as a Cardinals fan. Now do JoJo Romero and one of our catchers, see what else you can get, Bloom!

Acts of Kindness Thread

Another act of kindness, this time from Marine Lance Corporal Myles Kerr.

Marine Finishes Race with Young Boy

Lance Corporal Myles Kerr finished a race with a nine-year-old boy named Boden Fuchs who had been separated from his group. Boden asked Lance Corporal Kerr if he could run with him. He could've finished the race with his fellow Marines...but he chose to finish with the boy, encouraging him and running with him, and they ended up finishing the race in under thirty-five minutes.

I feel that it reflects well on Lance Corporal Kerr and young Boden - that Kerr viewed it as, in his own quote, "the right thing to do", and Boden for wanting to push through and finish the race instead of giving up.

Good on everyone involved, and it shows that even the smallest things end up mattering the most in the end.

OFFICIAL 2025 NFL News: Trades, cuts, free agency, and more

Ya know I get it that we needed Tutu for his speed & downfield threat skills. He actually does catch the ball when he's targeted & has decent hands, so he certainly does have value.
But... anyone catch Whittington on this play? as he catches up to Puka to throw a block?? :explode1:

I was at that game, same view as the video. I thought for sure he was tackled before he broke loose. Very exciting moment for my Grandson and myself.
