Los Angeles Dodgers 2025

I saw it the same exact way and thought he should have went to first.

After several rewatches, the ball came much farther towards the plate then initially thought...after bouncing off him.

I think with his momentum coming towards the plate and how far the ball came out, the play at first would have been very difficult. he would have needed to pivot and throw.

He had less time and options then first glance and home might have been his only play.

Either way, we got a break in a game where one error would decide it.
I looked at the replay and I believe he had plenty of time to throw to first base.

That was a horrible panic on his part.

That was a lucky play for us.

OFFICIAL 2025 NFL memes and other funny stuff

Yeah but 7 of them add up to $5m, including their probable 3 starters this season.

The outrageous one has always been Watson. And he's the reason that they've had to try all those stiffs as starting qbs.

They deserve nothing less, the bozos.

.
Dont really care about the money, its just hysterical that they are paying 8 guys and still dont have a single 1 who's a legit starter on Sundays

LEGEND Re: Introduce Yourself

Or in the case of us losing a SB, like we did in SB 36 against the cheating Putriots, I have never gotten over it.
Nor have I. What made it worse was that I had put up blue and gold balloons around my house for a big Superbowl party I was having. After the game, a storm blew in and wrapped those balloons around the upper limbs of some big birch trees in my front yard. Those damn balloons taunted me for over a year.

UFOs

I have now had 2 separate experiences seeing UFOs (Fuck calling them UAPs). A few months ago I had my second experience while taking a late night piss and looking out of my bathroom window. I actually did take a couple of videos with my phone. I missed the best parts while pissing, but I finished that and grabbed my phone off the nightstand in time to video some of it. The video doesn't do it justice though because it didn't clearly display what my eyes were seeing happen. Someone with experience editing videos might be able to clear it up, but I haven't wanted to even go down that road. I've only shown it to my wife and one of my sons. I've considered sending into my local MUFON here, but something has held me back. Maybe I'll post it on YouTube and put it up in this thread. We'll see.

I had my first experience while being out in the Atlantic Ocean after midnight with a friend of mine. He was a staunch non-believer at the time.

I don’t believe that I've ever shared either one of these here although I may have mentioned my first experience... I just don't remember. I have always preferred to just keep it to myself... I don't have any interest in trying to convince others.

All of this coo-coo shit being thrown around today makes me never want to share my experiences because I don't want to be thrown in any box with the paid asshats. I believe that is one of their main goals.

Demoff on the victory (and other shady tweets)

Our situation is different from the teams that drafted Bowers, Warren, McBride. Maybe I’m wrong but im not going to fact check, but I think those teams needed a starting TE right away and just plugged those guys in. We just signed Parkinson to a solid deal and we have Higbee under contract. They aren’t going to bench them right away.

Also, Higbee, a guy that’s been a pillar of our team for a long time, just got back from that gruesome playoff injury at the end of last year. McVay isnt going to let him go out like that and not let him play one full season before replacing him.
Plus the Rams struggle to get most rookie skill players some snaps when they have guys ahead of them they trust. Example, Kyren and Corum. Also if the Oline was as good as Detroit's maybe blocking wouldn't keep him or Hunter off the field.

Acts of Kindness Thread

The Story of Finley-Jay

This eight-year-old boy (probably now nine years old, if the date is correct) has been giving out so-called "goody bags" to ambulance workers at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (somewhere in the U.K., I would think), containing tea, coffee, sweets, chocolates, and cookies (biscuits, for you Brits reading this), and pens, amongst other needed things. He got the idea from a social media site called "Hit The Ambulance gamers" - hit meaning a random act of kindness, and he's been doing it for years now. All of the items are donated by family and friend, and there are special bags for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Little acts of kindness by kids can often move the hardest of hearts. Let's hope his never hardens.
