Did this one doing no trades. It could be much worse I think.

That would be a good draft if the Rams did not re-sign Dotson; but I would consider that a mistake at this point. The Rams might just have to bite the bullet this time. It’s clear how he has helped elevate the run game and how critical it is to a McVay offense.

Otherwise, I would agree, getting a Guard early might be more important than a LT while Noteboom and Jackson are around.

10 trades and no future picks? I've been trying to do that but I always end up with less picks and a couple of future picks. 33 would be a nice piece and make AD play another year or two, especially when you couple him with 71. Great draft if Matt stays around like I hope he does. I can't help but pick up a WR when I get extra picks.

I’ve found to manipulate the algorithm the more you choose trades that give picks for 2024 draft that’ll it’ll give you more trades later with picks for the 2024 draft. Hence building for our 2024 window.

Holy unrealistic Batman on the first one. I think the six of the first seven go higher than what this thing projects (Trice and Van Pran Granger being first round picks, potentially Paul and Newton being sneaky first round picks, Corum being a high third, and Hall being a mid second. Bishop is someone I considered...in the fifth round.), and while I'd love that draft, I have intense doubts that it happens; hell, when I can say that MY mock offseason is more realistic, this drafting system has issues.

It’s been pointed out throughout this thread that the PFN simulator is not particularly realistic when it comes to player availability. :thumbsup1:

Meh I'll give them a break since the college football season hasn't even ended yet. I know PFF's has some issues to. Surprised that if they make one functional they don't have someone half ass maintain it to. Which brings me to my point, why pay if it's half ass anyway? They are crazy!

Also noticed last years PFF rankings versus where prospects were taken differed quite a bit so after the top 20 it's a toss up.

Do we think Jordan Moses is a second rounder? Or does he go sooner?

Only if we address the secondary in free agency.
Yeah for sure! I'm in the minority it seems but when an opposing is winding up and looking deep I get anxious asf and time slows down not knowing what those dudes in the secondary are potentially giving up!

That said they have been playing a lot better as of late but still think we need at least one legit outside CB to add somewhere like you.

Was more specifically talking about adding Penix if he dropped in the middle of the second type of situation.

Trouble is that we’d have to be psychic to trade down in advance, knowing that he would fall.

I doubt he even falls that far but meaning having a pick and he dropped to that pick you have, like what happened here at 42. I think I'd pull the trigger on that. If not I'd take that the CB we were talking about! lol

There's a lot of reasons to like Penix but there's a lot of reasons to pump the breaks. This is a good one. Along with his injury history, age, etc... I think unless you're a team that needs to take him, I'd steer clear. Need and eye candy will almost ensure he goes in the 1st but if he were to drop to the 2nd I don't think you take him unless you need a QB and your already on the "let's take a chance" carousel.

No.
I would not have any interest in drafting a QB that high.
I'd also be going multiple corners.

I have no idea how realistic the PFN trade machine is.

Here's one I did...
