No.
I would not have any interest in drafting a QB that high.
I'd also be going multiple corners.

I have no idea how realistic the PFN trade machine is.

Here's one I did...
Well it’s an algorithm and obviously isn’t perfect, but it seems to be the best out there you don’t have to pay for.

It's fun.

I've done a ton of them.. trading back a shit ton. I think it's a great draft to do that for the Rams needs this offseason.

This is a fucking work of art.

One of the reasons I love trading back is the numbers-game aspect.. better odds.
That was the planets lining up! lol

I can't help myself... I've done a hundred of those things. lol

My goal is always to get 6 in first 100.. which could be 7 if Morris gets a job... and at least 10 picks, overall.

I think the good thing about where the Rams are at.. is getting multiple *good* players in the draft is more important than hoping to get two really good ones in the first and second.

What I don’t get is the dumb ass algorithm is easier to get more early now than it was when we were in the 15-16 range?!!? lol

lol.
Makes no sense.
I wish it also let you factor in potential compensation picks. Sounds like the Rams could have four.. maybe 2 sixth and 2 seventh.
Also.. could get that third for Raheem!!! Fingers crossed!

As I'm typing this.. just saw on another screen.. they may end up with a 5th comp for Mayfield!! Wooohoooo.. That got them Puka, so I'm sure they'll get another ROY candidate out of that pick. lol

The more I look at this draft.. what the Rams can do in free agency.. and the next few years...
I see them trading back a bunch.
Who knows? Maybe a guy who they absolutely love falls in the first round.. it could happen. But I'd rather have more top 100-125 picks than anything else.

If your first pick is a guy like Quinyon Mitchell or Jordan Moses.. I think you're in good shape as far as your first pick goes and they seem to project into the late 30s-40s.

What’s our draft position after today’s result?

Edit: Looks like 19-24.

There's a lot of reasons to like Penix but there's a lot of reasons to pump the breaks. This is a good one. Along with his injury history, age, etc... I think unless you're a team that needs to take him, I'd steer clear. Need and eye candy will almost ensure he goes in the 1st but if he were to drop to the 2nd I don't think you take him unless you need a QB and your already on the "let's take a chance" carousel.
Just don't take him too early. Kid's very brave in the pocket. He's gonna be a pocket passer in the NFL. But I wouldn't touch him until round 2 range at the least due to his injuries. I think in that range though his skills and ability to hit deep passes endears him greatly to McVay. Question is does McVay jive with him in the whiteboard session.

Would not surprise me if the boss falls in love with one of these QBs who goes outside the top group.

Penix is a left handed Teddy Bridgewater at BEST.

He crumbled against Michigan, imagine him against Detroit, SF or Balt...

HARD PASS
