louis riddick - overreaction - said everything working great but wants to see them run defend better to confirm that they are the most complete team.

schefter - not overreaction - said louis described exactly how the rams are the most complete team.

ryan clark - overreaction - have the look but worries about their outside corners.

This was a great play call...but damn I was pissed seeing Goff hit at the goal line...def. not necessary. or football smart...pumped up the team...but after I saw Palmer snap, I was just hoping he was healthy.

I think I’d like to counter those who would empathize with Marshawn Lynch for running from the Raiders bench out onto the field. The reasoning goes: He was defending his cousin, Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters.

And when Lynch made contact with an official, maybe he didn’t know it was an official, or he wasn’t trying to hurt the official—he was just trying to get him out of the way. On NFL Network, “Good Morning Football” analyst Ike Taylor, the former Steeler corner, said: “Even though he got suspended, it showed me growth. He’s trying to be the mediator.” Taylor was effectively countered by fellow panelist Mike Garafolo in this back-and-forth:

When family is involved...it's hard to think rationally....I can see where Marshawn "thought" running in there, grabbing Peters before those Raider linemen did something to his little brother...It's like his family...the O-Line...and Peters were feuding....so I get that.
And I doubt Lynch cares about the fine....and didn't know he touched the official and would be suspended. I think they should try to use some intent here. Did he intentionally grab/push/touch an official? I doubt it.

Several here predicted Palmer would be knocked out of the game in the first half. While I like and respect Carson...I smiled at the prophets on our board.

My girlfriend is a Cowboys fan. While they put a whooping on the Niners (c’mon, can we say Same Old Sorry Ass Whiners here?), I could smirk and say, “too bad it wasn’t a shutout”.

Bradford is hurt again so I guess Snead did the right thing after all. Keenum is a good dude and deserved to play on a winner.

All those morons who labeled Goff as a bust are crawfishing back to what some of us said last year.

Pittsburgh has an offense...unless they play the Jags. Makes me feel better about last week.

I live in Missouri among Chiefs fans so their skid makes me smile.

The Lions were said to be a more sustainable surprise team while the Rams would fade...uh huh.

While other teams’ fans lament bad officiating (true), “biased” announcers, season destroying injuries, and bad coaching...where we used to live...we don’t feel such burdens.

Knee jerk media perception has swung our way for the first time in a dozen years and I still don’t care.

Stltoday still has their trolls but they are being drowned out by the diehards who won’t let off the gas pedal.

My Ram brothers aren’t arguing with each other, it’s a peaceful easy feeling here on ROD.

Finally, when I tell people I’m a Ram fan...they don’t have to mask how sorry they feel for me.

Don't feel bad at all ... indulge that schadenboner. I do the same.

Ex. in 1999, it wasn't just the sudden, shocking, and overwhelming resurgence of the Rams that I enjoyed. Awesome as that was, that season was made even sweeter by the demise of the 49ers. They were coming off yet another playoff appearance and went into the season still appearing to have that swagger that they'd had since the early 80's.

And going into their first matchup with the Rams, they were 3-1. We crushed them in every way imaginable, but mostly psychologically. As I said, they were 3-1 going in ... and they were 1-11 the rest of the way. Like the Visigoths who sacked Rome, we took everything from them and left them a shell of their former selves. Believe me, I enjoyed the hell out of watching that franchise fall on its ass.

We've been kicked around long enough, time for someone else to get kicked around. Time for other teams to taste a lot of the sh!t have had to taste.

They did one where Wade kept calling in anonymously to Jerruh after the Rams won but I can't find it. It was hilarious.

First he called in as "John" In Laguna Beach...
Host: "Mr. Jones. this is "John" from Laguna Beach, CA.
Jerruh: "Well, hello there... what's on your mind?"
Wade: "Hey, Jerruh, it's me... Wade... Jerruh hung up on him.
Jerruh tells the host he hates that bastard and to screen the calls better

They take another caller... this is "Jim" in Huntington Beach.
Jerruh: "Hello, do you have any Cowboys questions for me?"
Wade: "Hey, Jerruh, it's me again... Wade...what'd ya think of how my Rams defense is doin' Jerruh?
Jerruh: "I told you not to call here again, Wade. Now shut up... (hangs up on him again)

They take another call... Mr. Jones, we have time for one more call. This is "Wayne" in Anaheim.
Jerruh: "Hello, what Cowboys question do you have for me?"
Wade: "Hey, Jerruh, it's me, Wade. Why ya keep hangin' up on me? Is it because my defense is better than yours, Jerruh? Rams record is better too, Jerruh.
Jerruh: "I thought I told you to screen these calls better... now hang up on him!!"

Funny that this is viewed as a negative thread. Was just making an observation on a coaching shortfall that many of our previous coaches have had and don't want that trend to continue. It was a comment made early in a game as just a point and not a piling on after a 33-0 win.
Been a fan for 50 years so obviously have been through good and bad and just want to see Sean fix this little pain in the ass issue.

Sean McVay on win over the Cardinals

We are now the highest scoring team AND the #10 D based on scoring (the ONLY metric that matters) I could give a hoot about yardage.

This team is light years from last year's team and I couldn't be happier at this time.

I love how this team has had some early adversity and have fought through. If we were 7-0, I think we'd be set up as a young team for awful disappointment when it matters. The way we're scrapping out wins is how we go DEEP into the playoffs and hopefully the SB.

But man, if you'd told me we'd have the highest scoring team in the NFL after 7 weeks... I dunno what I woulda said because I was a total McVay homer from the beginning, but 1st? I was just hoping for top 10.
