I think the personnel will determine whether it's an abrupt change or not. McVay certainly likes to do things a certain way like using uniform looks but I think if you watch his work going back to the Redskins, personnel has dictated what he's done more than rules like making things uniform.I was more referring to his high dependence on 11 personnel than how he used Kupp/Nacua. Part of his rationale and explanation in the past for the dependence on 11 is he's wanted uniform looks so the defense doesn't know what's coming.
I'm skeptical he's going to make an abrupt change and use a lot of 12. Sure, he used a TE more in Washington, but in 8 years with the Rams he's used very little 12 personnel. Even with Everette, it didn't look like the intent was necessarily to get two TEs on the field.
Now, to be fair, he's talking about wanting to be more versatile. I guess I'll believe it when I see it. I've seen evolution but not abrupt changes from McVay.
Not being sarcastic, (for once).I can't tell if this is sarcasm
Could have commented on a lot of these posts but this is by far the horrid inaccurate post of this thread. Seriously?!Stafford is not an elite QB. I can't think of any signature playoff comebacks. Never won anything in Detroit.
Had an opportunity this weekend to pull one of the bag and didn't happen.
We would be stupid not to take the #3 overall pick if that's what the Giants offered. We could trade back and get even more picks. Doubt that would happen but I pray that they're that stupid.I guess it should have been blue font, but honestly, the Rams would absolutely take #3 for Stafford, don't you think? Perhaps they don't love Ward or Sanders, but that pick is worth a ton to someone that does. Trade down and acquire ammo for next year.
Ultimately, I think there is no way Giants would even offer #3.
Tell me you didnt even read the statement without telling me you didnt read the statement....Poor woman. Her husband only got paid 75 million dollars over the past 3 years by the Rams. We should start a Go Fund Me. Wish Cooper well as for Ms Kupp my feelings are similar to mine for Ms Stafford. Cry me a river. SMH.
We are 12-5 with both on the field, with only 1 we are a losing team and under .500. We only started to win WHEN Kupp got back in the lineup both years.Or they could actually be much better. Puka is a younger and faster version of Kupp. Having two of the same type of player on the field was redundant. McVay touched on trying to get more versatile on offense.. a receiver with a different skill set could be the answer.
Let's not go there please.
He probably went to pursue real estate opportunities in the Gaza strip.

Yeah disaster is strong. It's still a good group compared to other NFL rosters. Disaster in the sense that i think it would disappoint as a win now roster. Love the way the roster is contracted as a whole though.Disaster is a bit dramaticAnd we have 2 good TE and Horton is a legit X with speed. A dimension this offense desperately needs. But I get your point.
It’s still relevant. That’s the ROD censorship at work. His actual name is Tat e; it’s only censored because of Golden Tat e.
