Sounds of the game from the clinching plays (wtf is up with Detroit's center?)

I blame the bowl of roids both lines ate pregame.
That's a lot of emojis! The Rams DL had an off game in comparison to the overall work of last season.
The Defensive front Five have some very highly-paid players playing in it Sunday night Donald (average annual salary of $22.5 mil.), Floyd(average annual salary of $16 mil,) & Robinson (average annual salary of $8.5 mil).... none earned that $$$ Sunday night.
I wonder if DT Sebastian Joseph-Day has spent way too much time reading all of his positive press clippings too much this year. Call me highly disappointed. Places him in with my thought on
A'Shawn Robinson @ this moment in time.
New starter inside @ NT Greg Gaines held up rather well inside but the running holes were left & right of him mostly left of him.
The Safeties (Rapp & Fuller) did very little to nothing to help plug up the holes too! Not sure if DC Morris had his hands around their throats or not
. Once again call me very unimpressed with both of them & with Morris's poor run game stoppage.
Yeah... And he's just as useful as his namesake.
That chart doesn't mean we're throwing verticals every or most 3rd down plays, it just means we're trying to go for the first more often instead of checking it down. The verticals on 3rd down have been the culprit of numerous possession killers resulting in punts. Waaay too many. I have no problem with those on 1st or 2nd down but its stupid on 3rd down when you consider the low percentage of conversion.
The yards per pass is nice but its actually a very deceptive stat when you consider the overall scoring is down from the 2018 Mcvay team.
It's much worse when you consider the decimated secondaries we have been lucky to have faced thus far. I don't think I need to detail it for those that have been following the games each week. But the Bears seconary is no longer what it is, The Colts were missing Xavier Rhodes and others, the Bucs were completely depeleted then had more injuries during our game leading to signing Sherman the following week, The Cardinals secondary isn't that good with the exception of Murphy who intercepted our aggressive approach, The Seahawks secondary is depleted with the exception of Diggs who intercepted us, then you had the Giants and Lions.
Think about that. When the playoffs roll around we will be facing an Arizona defense that shut us down, The Bucs with Sherman and JP back, Jaire Alexander and Trevon Diggs who is snatching up anything.
Am I being a debbie downer? No. I am just providing some context. The Deep ball is feast or famine and shouldn't be counted on for converting third downs as a regular occurence.
Tom Brady didn't win his Super Bowl with Randy Moss, but he did win it with the Gronks and Edelmans of the world.
Though the GSOT did use the long ball to Bruce to close it out. So it is possible.
But the biggest consideration for using a deep ball approach is Oline and pass pro. If we can stay healthy it's possible. So far all 5 lineman have been healthy. So has Higbee. Henderson and Sony have also been overall really solid in pass pro. If we get into the playoffs with this type of health then yes the deep ball approach is possible, but that is a long way away. Dialing up deep plays and sitting in the pocket for 5 seconds untouched like Stafford was today on the beautiful critical 3rd down pass to Kupp is only possible if all those blockers are healthy.
Nice lol.....but didn't the Giants beat the Cheaters? Both those Superbowl wins have put the Giants on good terms with meHere's the play I was thinking of
I thought is was better than the first two attempts. But standing on its own, IMHO, the casting, acting, and directing weren't that great.I’ve watched half and they have done a great job staying true to the book.
be forewarned
its “part one”……
Behind your back, they say you’re a little goofy.Maybe I'm nuts but I don't think so, my imaginary friends tell me I'm perfectly sane in fact.
But here’s the thing - Stafford is cold as ice. If it’s a one possession game and we have the ball last, Stafford will drive it down the field and put us in position to win.The NFC is so loaded.
I have a feeling the team that gets the #1 seed goes to the SB.
I can't see us winning @GB, @TB,or @DAL in a title game.
I think today was a result of Michele’s shoulder problem, not really the way they want to run it. If you go back to the post Seattle discussion from McVay 60/40 is more want they want.Today wasn’t the best day on the ground but overall I think Hendo has been really freaking solid this year.
That said. I *do* think the better long term play for the season would be to rotate Michel in more frequently. It will keep Hendo healthy and fresh, and plus, Michel adds a physicality and toughness that’s a nice change of pace. I’d love to see McVay get a rotation going where Hendo gets 2 series, then Michel 1—kinda similar to what he did with Gurley/Malcolm Brown.
Looks like the closest score here. Even predicted a little of the gameplay too. Small lead at half...impressive.Rams - 27
Lions - 17
Goff comes out and plays hard 1st half. Rearranged secondary for Rams still has some bumps on the way to better play. Plays out like a Rams game of old where a small lead at halftime becomes a two score or higher lead never given up.
