Notes;
Guard David Arkin is a 30 year old journeyman vet who did train as a center in his first year with Dallas. Not much upside in keeping him.

Pace Murphy has ideal tackle size and has always over achieved.

The Rams were very high on OT Darrell Williams prior to his injury in '15.

C/G Rhaney is undersized and maybe more suited for a strict zone-blocking system.

The offense scored 23 TD's in 16 games, less than 1 1/2 per game; the team averaged 14 ppg----even less than the magic "17" that Les spoke of before drafting Goff last year.

RB Andre Ellington is being converted to WR this year. Good move IMO. Kid has good hands, elusiveness but can't take the pounding back there. There also won't be many carries with D.Johnson as the three down back.

We picked Jason Smith over Aaron Curry, which was touted as the sure thing NFL ready LB ever. Both players failed to live up to expectations. So would have been wrong there too. JL ended up being the best pick for a 4-3 MLB of all.

Funny how the Rams drafted two TEs last year and got a TE loving head coach this year. McVay will get the most out of Higbee and Hemmingway. They don't have to be Pro Bowl players to help the offense get out of the basement. It will be fun to see how McVay progresses them along.

That's pretty funny after all of the hoopla of whether it should be Manning or Leaf picked first overall by all the media and behind closed doors both made it blatantly obvious who it should be. All the stats and video in the world isn't going to mean a thing if one of the players is a total douchebag and the other one shows he is a student of the game with 150% dedication. Manning was gift wrapped for the Colts by himself.

If you are right then that should push an even better CB down the Rams in round 2. I doubt Conley makes it to round 2 but if he did I would be very happy if the Rams took him.

So who vouched for a "my pillow"? BTW I'm definitely a sucker. I tried to get a "my pillow" for my crib but they would only accept credit cards not lactation selfies since all the cash I get my old man uses for hookers and blow or my mom uses for taller platform shoes for the street corner.

I really think Kayvon will be our best CB (this year at least) he knows the system and Wade for starters so he should be able to hit the ground running...

Not a fan of Jackson personally. They might end up going with him if they're sitting there and he's got value and whatnot, but I just hope there's some other dudes in that group they like better.

Keep in mind this was before Golladay started being talked about haha. Now he's gaining some steam heading into the draft. So is my guy I wrote about Daquan Holmes. He killed his pro day and could go round 5.

Raiders to Las Vegas just feels immenent. And rightfully so. No other team would fit like the Raiders anyway.

Meh, maybe just work with the backup/future starter...Maybe to get more familiar with the terminology. It still doesn't excuse the lack of targets in REAL games...Especially after a couple of very good games.

The Rams coming back in the Superbowl down 17 to 3 to tie it up in the 4th quarter 17-17 only to lose 20-17. That was still a hell of a comeback and they nearly pulled it off. The Titans comeback was crazy too (thank you Mike Jones!!!!!!!!).

He always had the fumble bug. That was always a detriment to his game.

Since the line calls will be made by HC McVay the center position required resume is changed. Take a look as to the super fast release of Tim Barnes. One of Tim's best skills & talent was a very smart working brain, being prepared & his ability to make the line calls. His 3 million price tag this season played a major role too. But Tim was maxed out physically & was coming off a bad injured foot too. Thus his release.

So we have this current post description on two very aged well season & damaged center to make a choice on. My point is does McVay & Kromer really need these 3 mention above types if line calls are now no longer a requirement? Looks to me this might be a good future discussion here.

Most believe that starters Whitworth/Saffold will line up on the left side & some combo of previous starters Robinson/Havenstein will start on the right side. That leaves some a very nice cadre of youth-full talented OL'ers three of which have many Rams starts the last two seasons looking to start somewhere & the only post currently open is Center.

Its a good bet that 2nd yr 6-6/310 Pace Murphy & 3rd yr Darrell Williams look to remain as reserve back ups to the OT posts. That would leave 6-5 323 pound Cody Wichmann, left handed 6-4 324 pound Jamon Brown & the 6-6/316 pound Andrew Donnal as possible center prospects alone with interior reserve OL positions. The very small 6-1/299 Demetrius Rhaney who is entering his 4th TC & pre season as a Ram & WWC 6-5/311 pound David Arkin who has played some center in contention. That's five interior OL'ers already signed & looking for a roster position.

In conclusion If I had some input in this I would remove Jamon Brown from this competition due to the fact that he would be my choice to replace Rodger Saffold due to his past injury history & would make Wichmann & Donnal my main two picks for some heavy duty action @ center in OTA's & TC.
