Saffold destroys 2 defenders during the same play

I really took heart in the fact that the doctors told him that essentially the shoulder surgeries only made him better as his natural shoulder construction wasn't optimal for such a big guy.

I think I said this before, but when he had good players next to him so that he could focus on his job and beating the guy in front of him, he's always been at least pretty good and sometimes downright nasty.

I'm so happy for him.

I dunno that he's the most improved...I mean when you look at Goff and Gurley... it's hard to think that... but he might be as high as 3rd most improved with the change.

Another huge compliment to the new coaches.

My hope down the stretch

With Jimmy G in Whiner-ville that game will be a better game than people think!!
The Rams were damn lucky to beat them the first time.
Very disappointed they have a real QB.
Brown is a good depth back. However the vast, vast majority of his carries before he was injured came when the team was way up.
He ground out yards and was very effective and can certainly spell Gurley here and there.
But, you aren't taking touches away from Gurley to get Brown more involved.

Happy birthday to our big left tackle

CA has no Gift Tax, but there is a Federal Gift Tax.

You must file a Gift Tax Return if you give more than $12,000 to any ONE recipient in one tax year. You may give up to $12,000 to an unlimited number of recipients each year, however and never file a Gift Tax Return. Once the gifts per recipient exceeds $12,000 you must file the return but there is also a $1,000,000 lifetime exclusion that will keep you from having to pay any Gift Tax until you've used that up.

Never heard of such a tax but that makes perfect sense. Want to be a good person and donate to some kids in an area full of underprivileged that's great but we'll tax you for doing it. Wonders never cease.
Never underestimate the gov’t’s desire to do away with that. They’ve tried before. They want to be the only ones with the power of “charity”.

13 Carries....

Dude, settle down. Nobody is keeping you from voicing your opinion. And for the record, I never said McVay can't be questioned. I was specifically discussing situational play calling. As in, it's impossible for anyone to be able to say they're better versed in that area given the fact that they know nothing about the *situation* in which a play was called. All they know is that it didn't work, so the better option *would have been* (insert play here). Of course had the play he called actually worked, then there would be no calls for an alternate play (i.e., a run).

So no one can ever suggest different play calls because the exact outcome is unknown.... we're going to agree to disagree on that.
