Thomas calls out Wagner! Trouble in Seattle

My friend from Seattle, a die-hard Seahawk fan, turned the game off before half-time. I never do that. I watched every Rams game to the end. And Charles Davis spoke too soon when he said he 12th man would stay to the end cheering just as loudly for every good play their team made. They were bolting for the exits by the start of the fourth quarter. That is what I don't like about that fair weather fan base.

Now Earl Thomas is reflecting that same mindset. They lose badly and start bickering and pointing fingers, instead of being classy and complimenting them Rams win.

KC TD catch????

Two more today. James for Pittsburgh and it just happened with an Oakland receiver. The ball with James moves too much but when does the "breaking the plane" rule take effect?? Seems that happens first. The Oakland play was called a catch, then confirmed as one even though the ball moves more to me than the ball did with Hunt. Utterly confused!!!!!!!!

After 15 seasons in Cincinnati, Marvin Lewis is moving on.

D@mn!!!! One year too late, Marv! ~LACHAMP46
You give Marv our talent.....watch the fuck out!
Some of Lewis' and Schottenheimer's failures in the post season were defiantly on them
Totally agree....but when they started raiding him of assistants....
Jay Gruden, Hue Jackson....and I know I'm missing one coach on his staff....Can't lose quality assistant coaches and remain on top....

Still baffled why his defense doesn't play better.

So I guess no suspensions...

Pete Carroll, 3 Seahawks fined for improper actions Sunday

http://www.seattlepi.com/sports/sea...ll-3-Seahawks-fined-for-improper-12434342.php

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has reportedly been fined $10,000 for improperly entering the playing field during the contentious end to Sunday's game at Jacksonville, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. There were no suspensions issued on either side and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Michael Bennett will not be fined for his role in the day's skirmishes.

According to Rapoport, the Seahawks to receive postgame fines are: Quinton Jefferson ($9,115 for unnecessary roughness), Sheldon Richarsdson ($9,115 for unnecessary roughness) and Germain Ifedi ($24, 309 for verbal abuse toward an official, separate from the end-game conduct).

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 15, 2017

Carroll ran onto the field and received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during the final drive of the game, intervening after two consecutive plays of pushing and shoving resulted in two Seahawks ejected and one -- Jefferson -- attempting to scale the grandstand and enter the crowd.

Joking about the fines after practice Sunday, Carroll noted that although Bennett avoided getting hit in the wallet, "Not everybody avoided fines." Carroll said he knew as he entered the field that a fine would loom later.

ith fewer than 60 seconds remaining and the Jaguars trying to milk the clock and end the game, Bennett tried to anticipate the snap and force a fumble of Jags center Brandon Linder. Bennett ended up underneath Linder, who stepped over the defensive lineman, then tried to walk away. Bennett rolled over, grabbed Linder's lower leg and tried to take him down.
"It's just something that needed to be done at the time," he said.

Fan vote portion of the Pro Bowl is done

When you look at consistency, longevity, health and the technician he is with placement, he's the only punter who is playing to a Hall of Fame level.

He gets us 200 yards a game sometimes.
Looks like ESPNs Alden Gonzalez agrees with me.

In 2016 Johnny Hekker had the greatest season for a punter in NFL history.

Is there are more underappreciated yet important position?

RGIII says he turned down offers from the Cardinals and Ravens

No change in attitude. Tried to blame it on the situation. What's he expecting given his exit. Oh yeah, to be number 2 on a playoff team? Hilarious.

If he didn't think he'd get snaps because of gabbert and Stanton then he's crazy. Maybe hed have to work for it but hed get snaps and it would his chance to prove himself, which I guess he doesn't think he has to do at this point. Bad choice. If he had the work ethic and drive in addition to the talent HE thinks he has, he could be running that offense by now and with palmers condition of ramitis clouding his future in AZ, rg3 would have a realistic chance of handing off to one of the best rbs in the league next September. What a dumbass.

Refusing Baltimore may be even worse. There he would've started at least in preseason according to him. Prepare as best you can and if it wasn't enough time maybe mention it afterward but for gods sake get in the game if you still want to play at this level. Reality check kid. The factory of sadness is happier without you as a 3rd string player and Miami signed cutler to start. You should be all over any chance you get to be on a professional roster, even if its in Canada.

Stedman Bailey cleared to play football by doctors... not team dr though

The suspension I dont think means anything. Fact of the matter is PEDS are rampant in pro sports, and the coaches know it. Head injury on the other hand, all depends on what the doctors say is current state of health is. I haven't heard a doc say anything about what his brain scans look like or if there is any remaining damage that can be aggrevated and made worse. Although if that were the case i dont think they would have cleared him.
There will be doubt until there is a track record re established.
A hard head to head hit, seizures etc. That is what I could picture.
So a guy is looking to pick a guy up for camp. One has no traumatic brain injury and no suspension one has both. Easy choice for a GM. Or maybe, they sign both as they go into camp with 12 WRs.
We shall see.

What Rams, and how many will make the Pro Bowl?

The results of the fan vote are in.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/12/16/leveon-bell-wins-fan-pro-bowl-voting/

Five Rams lead their positions in votes; Gurley, Donald, Zuerlein, Hekker and Cooper. Goff was fourth among NFC QBs but had the eighth most votes of all players.

Good job to all the fans who supported our players this year.
