One other thing to consider is now you have a bunch of kids that idolize this Rams player. We may have a bunch of youth growing up being Rams fans even though their parents might not be football fans or be Raiders fans. Setting future generations up for the disappointment we've lived with for a long time :D

Or even better they see the man that he is, the way he lives his life, the success he has found in doing so, the dedication/the love/the respect he has for people around him.

Ram fan, great!

Some kids getting some exciting outdoor activities, great!

A few of them may glean something from what he did and represented there!

Maybe some of the adults take something from that as well!

All is well with Mr. Whitworth whether he turned 45 or 36. ..

Did anyone notice the dude’s arms when they showed a close up of him on Sunday? Man looks like a bear. That’s one freaking grizzly bear of a LT.

Happy birthday Whit.

He's gotta pay a tax for being a good guy there? Damn I'm glad I don't live in California.

BS

CA has no Gift Tax, but there is a Federal Gift Tax.

You must file a Gift Tax Return if you give more than $12,000 to any ONE recipient in one tax year. You may give up to $12,000 to an unlimited number of recipients each year, however and never file a Gift Tax Return. Once the gifts per recipient exceeds $12,000 you must file the return but there is also a $1,000,000 lifetime exclusion that will keep you from having to pay any Gift Tax until you've used that up.

Never heard of such a tax but that makes perfect sense. Want to be a good person and donate to some kids in an area full of underprivileged that's great but we'll tax you for doing it. Wonders never cease.

Never underestimate the gov’t’s desire to do away with that. They’ve tried before. They want to be the only ones with the power of “charity”.
