Would they still have #26 in this fantasy? For shits & giggles, what would YOU want to do if we were to acquire the 6th pick?

I've been playing it out on the PFF draft simulator. It allows trades of players and picks. Could possibly trade down (twice) to a late first round pick and pick up two more r1 picks for 2026.For shits & giggles, what would YOU want to do if we were to acquire the 6th pick?
For me, I'd love to trade down for more picks in this class. If someone was making a big trade up, a 1st next year would be great. Getting a 2nd rounder in a trade down would seem like a priority.
Outside of that, if we stayed put and took a guy I see a few intriguing possibilities:
Do we get nasty up front and take Mason Graham?
Do we get that big fast WR McVay has wanted since nearly signing Evans in McMillian?
Do we draft an OT to fill in for AJ or Big Rob in Will Campbell?
Do we take the best lock down corner in Will Johnson?
Do we take a TE weapon in Warren?
Or does McVay say fuck it and draft Jeanty?![]()
Lord I hope soWould they still have #26 in this fantasy?
Well that would be very ideal.I've been playing it out on the PFF draft simulator. It allows trades of players and picks. Could possibly trade down (twice) to a late first round pick and pick up two more r1 picks for 2026.
May as well get Maxx Crosby in the deal while we're at it. LolLord I hope so
Ben has proven himself more right than wrong. Of course, here he is only speculating. He's very good about clarifying that too when he says stuff. Not saying anyone knows anything for sure - but these guys also like to be the "first" to say something.
So hard to know if they even mean it.
In a bad 1st round year, I don't think you can hope to trade down (though it could still happen). You better be happy with what you can get at those spots.I've been playing it out on the PFF draft simulator. It allows trades of players and picks. Okay, not new info here but something I wasn't really clear on and maybe only slightly more clear on right now. It sure seems like many are implying online that it's not 50 mill Stafford is seeking from the Rams but 50 mill that he's seeking from the league.I find it harder and harder to go thru pages and pages with really no new info. I ask that when this is finally over that the admins force a new thread on the new RAMS and Stafford contract. Cause I believe that he stays a Ram and will be around 55 per year.
Most likely it would just be a continuation of futility for the Raiders. Stafford isn’t anyone’s long term solution. The Raiders are much more than a QB away from competing. The Rams might not want to extend Stafford at the price and terms of his contract request but they aren’t going to GIVE him away. Stafford’s contract runs through the 2026 season. Raiders will have to pony up at minimum a 2nd and a 5th in the 2025 and a conditional Round 1 pick that is based on his performance in 2025. If he’s traded to the Raiders he will right back at home like his Lions days never sniffing the playoffs again. If the Rams trade Stafford to the Raiders, it will be like handing over the LA market right back to them. It would increase the stupidity of the trade by 10 fold
I'm not worried about that. I trust McVay to make the right call.If the Rams trade Stafford to the Raiders, it will be like handing over the LA market right back to them. It would increase the stupidity of the trade by 10 fold
I doubt we get pick #6, but we better get first round value. IMO, a couple examples of fair deals are:If I'm the Rams, I play hardball and don't let him go without a first. It can include a pick swap this year (e.g., the Rai-duhs 1-6 for our 1-26) or a 1st rounder next year (with other draft capital this year), but I think the Rams should draw a very hard line with regard to that. They already stated that a 1st would be the asking price. They already have Stafford under contract and are under no obligation to let him go without the right price.
It was the two turnovers that changed the game. Kyren Williams fumble and Matt Stafford’s fumble led to 6 point's. Rams lost by 6.It was 13-10 at halftime before the weather kicked in.
So we still had a chance to win that game even if the weather stayed the same.
I completely disagree with your take.
Not enough. If they are only getting a 2nd or a 3rd in 2025. ( Not enough) then the conditional pick should be a number 1 in 2026. Anything less is not an option.I'm not worried about that. I trust McVay to make the right call.
I doubt we get pick #6, but we better get first round value. IMO, a couple examples of fair deals are:
Option #1
Pick #37
2026 conditional 3rd round pick (becomes a 2nd if Stafford plays 75% of snaps and a 1st if Stafford plays 75% of snaps and the Raiders make the playoffs)
Option #2
Pick #68
2026 conditional 2nd round pick (becomes a 1st if Stafford plays 75% of snaps)
That was a strange game. Both teams left points on-the-board.It was the two turnovers that changed the game. Kyren Williams fumble and Matt Stafford’s fumble led to 6 point's. Rams lost by 6.
