Man, looking at this roster and I don't see a weak link anywhere. Even depth wise this is fucking solid as hell. Obviously a few players are way beyond important for SB goals but this might be the most impressive team on paper that McVay has ever had.

I thought Paul played well in the 1st preseason game. It looks like the injury bug was more costly for him than we realised. Let’s hope he makes it onto our practice squad. Looking at who we have waived we should have a deep practice squad to draw on throughout the season so there’s no point in feeling too down over the one or two players we would have personally kept (over Reeder, Murchison and Hampton??)

Im not going to go overboard on what essentially is roster spots 50-53 but keeping Reeder makes no sense. He is a liability on the field, period. Dolac and Paul both EARNED spots from what little I seen. Was really rooting for Willie Lampkin to make this team.

I get that it why even put him through the waivers process? As I understand it, with an IR designation he would not have counted against the 53 and would be safe from being poached at no real cost to the team.

One player who we have heard nothing positive about was Nick Hampton. Based on preseason, Brennan Jackson outplayed him. He must be doing something right, but he has never looked like a force rushing the passer

Yeah they are definitely the biggest question marks. I feel like the DBs as a whole are solid if not spectacular at least. None of them are going to be pro bowlers but with the front 7 we're going to have out there I think the secondary will surprise.

Hampton was actually very good on teams last year. I'm not surprised he made it.

I am hoping that if we are in the running at the trade deadline that a really good CB becomes available that we can get.

CB is the only weak link imho.

Even the Safeties are above average (well hopefully).
