I think that is the plan.
But, things often play out differently.
The number one guy I will be watching early this season is Avila. He was not good last year particularly in pass pro.
He was bailed out a lot (as the Rams OL often is as a whole) by Stafford quick release.
He is healthy now so hopefully he can get back on track.
I think it’s possible that Avila’s struggles coincided with having a rookie Center alongside him, that didn’t do great with the blocking scheme calls. The Rams screen game was good in 2023 and didn’t work as well in 2024. The common denominator was Shelton being gone.
