That Rams Wire article quoting Sean Mcvay's thoughts are exactly what many hear believe. That Tutu Atwell has played well when given the opportunities and Mcvay could have utilized him a bit better.

Can you imagine Tuta taking the top off defenses while Puka and Devonte Adam's are constantly open underneath? Is this a big part of McSnead's plan to become more explosive?

Add another TE and RB this year in the draft (any round) and the offense is all set. Hopefully one of them will contribute this year and add another weapon for Stafford..

But the Rams invested 10 million dollars in Tutu because they believe in him and it's gonna be very interesting to see how this plays out. If everyone stays healthy I believe Tutu is in for a big year. Then the Rams sign him to a multi year deal. The man can play football.

If I would've posted in the forum a few months after the Rams won the Super Bowl that in 3 more years Cooper Kupp would get released and Tutu would be resigned...

...let's just say it wouldn't be pretty.

Need to use one of the late round picks to draft another burner in case he goes down if they actually plan to use him as a deep threat this year. He’s the only one on the roster with serious speed

And more people wonder if McVay feels or thinks that way then why hell wasn't he used the last 4 years. It would have made the Rams a better team and it mismanagement to no use him

Also if he really feels that way why only a 1 year deal? You're going to sign him use him so he puts up better numbers and gets more mo ey? Again the word mismanagement comes to mind.

Atwell has a say on if its 1 yr or 2 yr deal etc... he is betting on himself to have good year and then demand more money next year.

Also, tough to say Atwell should have played more when Kupp, Nacua, and Robinson were all healthy. Had they pulled Kupp more for Atwell, you probably would be the first to bitch about it.

Huh? Alvin Haymond was a kick returner for the George Allen Rams. I was at a game at the old LA Coliseum back in the day when he returned a kickoff about 100 yards for a score.

Was it on a Friday night at the Coli in the opening game of the 1970 regular season vs. the StL Cardinals?

Can't remember dates that well but I do recall that the Rams were in their Blue and White uniforms with the home uni being predominantly white.

Btw there's a good chance that a Mr. David Ray was our kicker then as I believe he replaced the venerable Bruce Gossett.
Good times....

Yes, 1970 was Ray's first full season as a RAM after Gossett was traded for Kermit Alexander. Ray went to the same high school in Phenix City, AL as my mother.
