Sean McVay added to NFL Competition Committee

Can’t there be some kind of safety spin to make this happen? This seems like a no brainer.
Exactly. The 3rd QB rule is pretty much a smack in the face of the rest of the roster, can dress your inactives who can get in the game if injury occurs. Look at the Rams with the TE situation in 2021, why force guys to play hurt?

Things You Cherished When Young

One of you spoke about retaining trophies after many years. I played in county baseball, basketball and flag football leagues. My newest trophy is dated 1974. Somehow, at every stage of my life they never got thrown away. I moved from Whittier, CA to Conroe, TX to Fair Oaks, CA. to 6 years in the US NAVY to Milwaukie, OR to Kansas. They are just kid trophies, but for some reason I still have them and that amazes me.

Collection of Stafford's best last season

What if the Rams add a road grader OC and establish a devastating run game to compliment their effective pass game. What if the Rams add a stud LT that gives Stafford maximum blind side protection. What if the Rams find a red zone scheme that all but assures a TD when they get inside the 10 yard line. What if we haven’t seen the best of Stafford yet. WHAT THE F#%! IF !?!?!?

Dream..

Can't have solids when it comes to wisdom teeth. For me, when I got all four of mine pulled, it hurt like a bitch to eat melted ice cream, matzah ball soup (without the matzah ball), and even water. Had to get IV fluids. But mine was a severe case.

Here's hoping your wisdom teeth don't suck as much as mine, @ottoman89 !
I had mine surgically removed at 17. I remember rolling on the floor going it hurt it hurt it hurt. The prescription for the pain pills was waiting. I don't remember much after taking the pills, think I was asleep the most of the time. But drinking through a straw for a while for meals.

McVay has brought more than a winning culture to L.A.

Thanks for the reply, it just seems since we're all Rams fans should also mean we don't try to destroy each other opinions, even if some (including mine) seem completely off-base. Won't even try to pretend that I know who's who here but I apologize now and for any future posts that may upset someone.
It's all good. We all have opinions and the diversity of those opinions is what makes a fan board interesting. Of course when opinions differ there's plenty of back and forth discussion. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's more interesting than everybody agreeing. When it escalates to arguing is when it becomes less interesting. And that usually happens when somebody thinks their opinion is incontrovertible. Like mine!

Daniel Jeremiah Mock Draft 2.0

I definitely believe JJ goes top 10, top 12 at latest. I'm all for it.... unless its to us trading up

Realistically, the dude played well. He just happened to be in a run first, second, and third offense. Tough to blame them, they won a 'ship.
He's definitely a projection. Doubt he makes it past Broncos at 12. Not saying I agree with him that high but QB inflation and all.

How do we approach the backup to Kyren Williams?

I rewatched the wildcard game in Detroit…The Rams playcalling in the Red Zone were absolutely mystifying. When we were inside the 5…not one run…NOT ONE…you can say Williams was dinged up, but he ran his best in the 4th quarter. I had to laugh at Collinsworth because after a good 12 yard run, he said.” Now that’s the way Williams has been running the last seven weeks”..I screamed at the TV…McVay has only run him 7 or 8 times all game until now. Williams could have taken some of that pressure off of Staff. Hutchinson was lined up so wide at times, it was begging for an inside rush to slide by him and keep him honest. The fade routes to Kupp in the red zone were inexplicable…why were they thrown…is Coop known for his leaping ability?????
Red zone has alway been McVay's kryptonite going all the way back to Washington.

History That you Never Knew...

I'm gonna bump this thread. Did you guys know that one of Poland's Artillery Supply Units actually had a legit Syrian brown bear listed as a soldier, and that he helped carry heavy artillery by copying the men in the unit? Did you know that said brown bear (Wojtek once captured an enemy spy?

This is an actual true story.

Yes, I am absolutely serious.
Great bump, Mems

Fun facts!

Eric Weddle Destroys Purdy and the Ratbags...

Garapollo might have done better if he had CMC. Purdy has elite talent all around him.

Not saying he can't win because the whiners easily could have won SB 58. But he didn't and it's a reflection on rat boy, IMO.

Well if you look at contracts & what a player means to the team ? Purdy gets to much blame.

—The NINER’s win easily if your Boy CMC doesn’t fumble in the first quarter putting the NINER’s up 14-0. Good luck Mahomes.

In a weird way I actually feel sorry for RatBoy !! He has to sit next to John Lynch every press conference.I wonder if he guides him to the restroom with that smirk or smile of his.He looks better with a helmet in. I do HATE home though over the years. He finally won one with Tampa. Wasn’t Mcvay or Demoff(Raheem) there back then ? Have to add some Ram Flakes to it. The RIVALRY is better than ever if The Rams can BEAT Them DOWN in 2024. The schedule could actually have The Rams beating them 3 TIMES in 2024 ?

A truly bizarre stat

The record for all-time receiving yards after the age of 40.

Two guys on the list.

1st is Jerry Rice, with 2,169 yards.

In second place is..... wanna guess?

Tom Brady, with 6 yards.

Puke-worthy as a Rams fan, I know! But bizarre and interesting.

Why Brian Allen will be the last man standing from the Ram's 2018 draft

That’s proven to be a better draft than 2020 which had more draft capital as well.

Noteboom ? He is & has always been undervalued as a Ram.His contract speaks for how much Sean Mcvay likes Joesph
His contract also reflects that of a starter. That’s why I think the youth movement is on for the OL, cheaper to stock the yard and keep the starters you do have, Dotson, Shelton, Jackson
