Haha that Bryant McFadden breakdown was awesome.
There are times Goff’s fakes are a good yard away from the back so I tend to disagree. McVay worked with Cousins for three years...and Cousins is very good at fakes.
Great Video! Two things:Full comprehensive highlights

Rams at Cardinals — Ron Torbert
Torbert was the same ref the Rams had in their opening day slaughter of the Colts.
I don't think McVay will do that unless (or until) Austin removes all doubts in McVay's mind that he (Austin) just isn't effective enough to keep playing at lease some.easy to see if Coop can run jet sweeps, run him on one
train
hahahahahah...okJared Goff is the best thrower of the football in the NFL statistically. You reading this @LACHAMP46, thats a freaking tank.
Finally, and I was blasted earlier in the year for offering this...but since it’s now a popular sentiment in this particular thread...Cooper has the ability to do all the things Austin does for this offense...in some ways better (as a true receiver). As a runner, he may not make as many highlight plays, but he won’t take as many backwards running losses either.
Yep! Should have been a penalty, but that would have cost Quinn a sack!Look at the holding on AD in the strip sack photo! Thanks Dave!
I don’t know how to post game film I don’t possess, but if you get NFL REWIND or follow the link for replay in another post here, you will see Austin lined up in the backfield behind Goff, Austin goes right and blocks while Jared looks to throw a screen to nobody on the left and gets hit for intentional grounding. Perhaps you have a different explanation?
That was the point I was trying to make. Thanks. This was not about McVay playing favorites. It is about a very smart young man who understands how to get the most out of his veteran players and making them feel wanted and a part of a team and needing their leadership.
So I guess it’s cool to bash a coach cause things didn’t work out instead of just being happy that it has finally started to turn around, and actually be happy that our defense was good to begin with. And as far as stats right now they are about the same with one major difference-the amount of time the defense is on the field and the number of offensive plays that the opponent run.Check out the numbers... this defense is doing better than anything Williams trotted out there.
If it's because Williams never got the lift from an offense, well... I wonder who was responsible for that?
The problem is Tennessee is no longer a top program to attract that kind of coach.
I think Gabbert > Stanton. I hope we put them away early so we can put our backups in.Dont want injuries piling up.
Who is backing up Gabbert? Is stanton healthy? Bc you know theyre going to need at least 2 QBs.
Pure Gold--TA had three catches in this game-- check out the stat sheet! With eight total touches, TA was clearly more “involved” in this game. As in, “I’ve recently become involved with a married woman with gonorrhea.”
Yeah not sure doghouse is the word I'd use. I just think he doesn't feel Davis is ready for pass protection which we saw on his one snap he didn't really do well. While talking a lot about Gurley and the amount of snaps he took, absence of Dunbar, I found that not mentioning Justin Davis, who only took one snap, interesting. JDavis seems to be in McVay's doghouse.

I see a CB being drafted early, a NT signed in FA, and OLBs from both. This D is close to being very good. Obviously, we have to shore up those gash rushing plays we like to give up early in games and get a little more pressure on the QB on a consistent basis. But do we have any complaints on how we did Brees? I'd hope not because he was under duress for most of the game this week. Like already stated, we don't have a lot of depth (or none) on the back end of the D.
