Anybody had this stomach flu?
Youngest had it a few months ago and got all of us sick. I was unaware my stomach could hold that much food. Was sick that night, and nauseous the next few days. Not fun.
Well... There is that...I just have to say it. If they can't consistently win against the tough teams on the schedule, there is no point in making the playoffs.
Makes a lot of sense and is why I picked Allen, Noteboom and Miller as the FA's they keep on another thread. I don't see them cutting A'Shawn, unless they could get a great deal on SJD. They have to keep one or the other, imo. Even if Brown takes a nice jump, they'd still need another solid guy in the rotation next year.I was checking and along with Whitworth, I would think Ashawn Robinson could be released or traded. He would save around $6-8M depending if you designate it as a post June 1st release. Add in maybe $10M on a restructured Stafford deal and $2M if they move on from Hekker, and I am guessing they end up with $30M give or take.
Last I checked, OTC lists them as $5M under next yr based on a $208M cap if I recall correctly. They also are about $2M under now, but likely that gets eaten up with incentives paid out at end of yr.
Then the $5M under they are for next yr is for only 44 players. So 7 bottom of the roster bodies to get to 51, at say $800K avg, eats that up.
So with all of that canceling out, I think it will be in that $30M range with the above moves.
Now the question is who do you spend it on? Outside guys? The OL? Miller & Beckham?
I would think OL is the priority, but I would focus on Allen & Noteboom based on their position. I think Corbett might be the best player, but easier to replace a G vs LT or C.
If money is there maybe an outside CB if they move on from Williams or can't afford him.
Miller comes down to a lot of unknown's right now. What does he have left? Will he take less to be here, etc...
Same goes for Beckham.
I just don't see that it's worth holding on to them and costing you younger players that you will need.
glad they worked.Yes you did. I couldn't find them. Then I saw them at walmart a few weeks ago. But, I was concerned with how long they were. I just gave him one and he ran the hell away with it. Instant hit.
I was referring to if we lose to Green Bay this week.No we didn't lose three in a row.
Goff did not play yesterday.
I feel bad for the lions fans. That team is pure shit.
They got their wish and Goff was benched because of injury.
Their back-up QB - even worse than Goff
15-23 77 yards (yes that is right - 77 yards on 23 passes) - plus 2 interceptions
And their RB gained 123 yards.
This team is not bad because Goff sucks but because the Lions suck - pure and simple.
I don't think any QB could do well with that team since the best they can do are 5 yard passes.
For the review @Dodgersrf , I would do it again.
It is pretty damn rich as comfort food to me is suppose to be. For a family of two a ton of left overs.
We used Olive Garden Dressing, as named, which IMO was a good choice. Both the M-wife and me thought it needed something else to tone down the heaviness. After much debate we decided we would add diced tomatoes to keep with the Italian flare and lighten it up.
We can take the left overs and add that in after this work week.
The chicken shredded well and the recipe is as advertised. Next time we will back off the suggested 1/2 cup of dressing.
We have affectionally named this dish "Old Airplane Food".
Love having a funny wife.
Here is the recipe. This site has many easy recipes.

Speaking of Raiders, another year, another up and down season.
Floyd has lost containment a few times but I wouldn't say he's been subpar. He has 7.5 sacks so far.The defensive unit is just not that cohesive. They lost more than starters this off-season but it hasn’t helped that Morris has almost schemed our DBs into bad spots.
I have to say, losing Holland has had more of an impact than I thought it would.
Subpar performance by Floyd.
Secondary has gone from the best to below average. That shouldn’t happen with Ramsey back there. Put him on the #1 and be done with it.
STOP THE RUN!
I find it disappointing that our celebrated rookie BB3 can’t get on the field when it is obvious that the DL needs reinforcements.
The TOP # is not surprising. We are consistently losing that battle lately.
ESTABLISH THE RUN!
I have to say I was terrified San Francisco was going to draft him.
And I was freaking thrilled when they drafted Trey Lance.
I have thought from the start that was an epic mistake by the Niners. Nothing against Lance, but he needs a lot of work just to be a starting NFL qb. Mac Jones is excelling right now.
I used that play as an example but I'm talking about improvising in general. On that play, it is difficult to pull off with only two deep routes downfield but I would like to see an attempt since Stafford had a clean pocket. Being doubled on plays like this doesn't matter since you can change directions and lose both defenders.
The Rams list starting right guard Austin Corbett at 6-foot-4, 306 pounds; starting left guard David Edwards at 6-foot-6, 308 pounds; and starting center Brian Allen at 6-foot-2, 303 pounds. That’s a remarkably light interior offensive line
This year alone is a hell of a coaching job. Mediocre to bad OL, a QB who's past his expired date and a lot of injuries and he's over .500.Mike Martz didn't get fired for his winning percentage. And my usage of superior is exactly what the word means (greater than). I'll reiterate. Mike Tomlin has been a HC for 15 years and has ZERO losing seasons. What he has done for the Steelers lately is kept them winning. Tomlin is a great HC. I stand by my rankings and think it's nuts that people are denigrating a head coach who consistently won.
Goff was acquired in a trade up. Some years there aren't any good QBs at all. Jones is a good QB. Just like Brady was. My point was just that. Belching doesn't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Otherwise he'd have had other QBs ready to take over for Brady.Well he seems to be improving each week.
My overall point is that you shouldn't have to burn two first rounders to get a 33 yr old QB... especially if you have an offensive genius as a head coach.
