Crap like this pisses me off

Agree Den, but If I were writing an article on a team, I would at least do some research on their past
season as well as their roster and consensus outlook. Would take at most 30-45 minutes of online digging.

I would rather put in the time to try to know about who/what I was writing.
Why? Because my name would be on it But that's just me.

However, at the core , there's so much about their job that I'm totally ignorant to. Have not walked one day in authors shoes
Just remember; not everyone is always right, like us.

Rams RB Kyren Williams: 'I don't feel like I've touched my peak yet' coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons

...
He's one of those damn guys you build a team around BUT ...
...
... he has a low-MTF ... and ... when that's multiplied by his High-Impact-Tote (The Man's High-Tote is LOW!!!!!) the result is a very low-ATEX!

I mean C'mon Guys! What do you expect?!?
A low-MTF is bad enough but couple that with a low-High-Tote, which no one in their right mind ever wants, what can you expect but a disastrous ATEX!?!

For those that did not open the article, below is the relevant excerpt ...

"A new rushing metric developed by Chris Trapasso puts into perspective where Williams ranks in terms of tackle avoidance and explosiveness. Spoiler: It’s not great.

It measures a running back’s missed tackle forced rate, as well as the number of runs that went for 15-plus yards. It’s called ATEX, and this is the formula."

(Missed Tackle Forced % × 0.4) + (High Impact Tote % × 0.6)
MTF rate is self-explanatory. And HIT % is the amount of 15+ yard runs from a back divided by total carries during the regular season.

Pre Combine I've crossed the Rubicon Mock Draft

Thought Corbs had a full fledged mock for 2026 for us to, uh, mock. :laugh2:
;)
I really don't think Arch will come out this draft, but certainly think we will try to carry over a first to the following year.

That said if he does come out I'm sure Snead will be all over him but will have to probably get the #1 pick because if we are desiring him that much you sure as hell know the Saints/ Colts, and possibly the Giants will want to trade up not only for the prospect/ potential of him but the legacy of being able to tie him with his families legacies and the organization again.

Interesting to see how his season come by this year.

All East Coast Ram Fans Sign In Here

I first became a Rams fan when my Dad took me to get my hair cut and the Rams were on the black and white TV in the barber shop. I remember Roman Gaberial throwing the ball to Jack Snow and that Rams front four on defense. I have been a fan ever since. When the Rams beat the Titians in the Super Bowl in 1999, I had all my buddies over to watch the game with me. When Warner hit Bruce with the touchdown pass to secure the win, I went APE SHIT, all my buddies wore they would never watch another football game with me. It was a great day to be a Rams fan!

One month until Training Camp

Well fuck. TC tix sold out. Sorry folks, looks like I won't be posting any camp reports this year. VetRamFan and I went last summer and were very disappointed in the Marymount field setup. Not fan friendly. Two fields with stands on only one side.no cover, and a baseball field they used with no fan access. Very limited in what fans could see.
Hope the new facility in Woodland Hills is ready by next summer and they build it more like the Irvine facility, which was fantastic for fans.

Mark Walter buys Lakers for $10 billion

The Rams lost a whole generation of LA fans during their time in St Louis. If you were a teen or young adult in the late 90's who wants to adopt a team as your favorite, are you gonna pick a team that used to be in your city and has been a perennial loser? Or that age the last ten years they were in St Louis? Probably not. Unless you like lovable losers. It'll probably take a whole new generation to get to the point where we don't see opposing fans taking over the stadium.
I'm not sure we will ever see a time when at least some visiting teams don't dominate our stadium. For the most part, an LA fan is not going to spend the kind of resources to fly out to Cleveland, Cincy, Philly, etc... for a football game. The LA residents also have multiple entertainment options that include many that don't cost them near as dearly. Meanwhile, fans from almost every other NFL city will continue to plan their vacations around going to LA and all its entertainment options.

I think we'll improve in this area and likely gain fans in other NFL cities. But I'd be surprised if we ever overcome the alure for a few teams' fans to invade SoFi. The LA fans dominated the Coliseum, but this is a new time and the NFL is just WAY too popular to go back to those times.

Colin Cowerd on Rams/Alaric Jackson 6/19

Not interested in a prolonged exchange on this. But there is a big difference.

Adding to one's argument that there are fans who exhibit an undesireable behavior, when it is exceedingly rare on this particular site, is like calling your 20 year old cousin to get you out of an after school fight.

Saying that everything the team does is good and positive and will inevitably work out is like saying "why talk about anything we can just all agree with everything they do." And where the fuck is the fun in that.

There's probably been a thousand exchanges here about this shit too. So no reason to belabor it. I simply have a hard time cruising past some shit when I see it laying in the road.
And yet you will prolong it, right?

There is a difference. I wasn't calling out anybody in particular. You were.

I wasn't adding to my argument, I was commenting on yours.

And I'm not trying to prolong anything, but I too have a hard time cruising past shit when I see it.
