He actually left the cupboard pretty stacked at USC. In the years he's been gone the Trojans haven't ever had a losing record (closest was a 7-6 Lane Kiffin implosion) and have won double-digit games in four of the eight seasons since he left.

I'm sure he knew the NCAA was going to do something to 'SC but there's no way he could've known those idiots were going to try to destroy the program.

5th year....how'd he acquit himself?? Look around the backup QB landscape? I will say....the drops didn't help him....but he was terribly inaccurate....almost comical the way he was throwing 3 yard passes when we needed 8.

Rams/9ers has been one of the league's best rivalries for a long time. It's just back on now. Gonna be a fun bunch of years ahead between these two guys, as both are brilliant offensive minds.

And yes, I do think the Rams will stomp the whiners hard in the next game for some payback. No love lost there.

I knew McVay was a different beast at halftime of the the Colts game. He looked pissed off talking with the sideline reporter even though the Rams were up by 3 touchdowns, probably due to some of the drive killing penalties committed by the OL. The man's expectations are through the roof.

I Think he can get to the QB by setting up the inside move. Ryan NOT a big threat to run. Yes I saw a little gumpy like move last week. He is still running past the QB. He is cutting in or gumpy-ing it a little more. Been hoping he could get better every week. It is time to step in and get a couple sacks and lots of pressures

I had Jones on my FF team this year... with the exception of one game, he was very pedestrian. Will that continue? Who knows... and he can explode at any time (I think that one game where he showed up, he got me like 45 points).

I absolutely agree with this... if ATL can't run, and with the injuries on their Oline, Ryan will have a very though day and the Rams should dominate.

Rams need to stuff the run early and often.

The Falcons' basically have the same roster that had the Superbowl win in their grasp last year. They are capable of playing at a similarly high level. I think they will play at a higher level than they have much of this year. It's the playoffs. Teams will be at their best.

Same, we cut the cord years ago and only thing we pay for at the moment is Netflix just cause we like the convenience of it. But have a stick and a firetv with kodi on both. Like Rhody said it is kind of a pain in the ass at times as there are updates a lot. And it seems a couple of times a year the whole app needs to be redownloaded due to a new version being released. But can't beat saving a couple of thousand dollars a year in cable or satellite costs. I haven't found watching live NFL to be all that great on it though and usually do that through various websites through my xbone browser. But some people seem to have better success than me when it comes to that.

His numbers will rise and fall over the years but will be most affected by supporting cast in my opinion.

Mark my words, Goff will excel in this system as long as Snead and Mcvay get their Oline replenished and are able to build the depth.

We we’re beyond lucky this year to have all starting 5 lineman healthy all year, we need to plan to not expect that every year. We have one NFL caliber interior backup in Blythe and no NFL caliber backup tackles.

Goff has been excellent sensing pressure and flushing when needed but like Keenum and Wentz, Goff had an excellent Oline in front of him.

Does Goff need to develop his ability to throw on the run?

It would be nice but QB’s like Brady, Manning, Brees, Ryan, Marino etc show throwing on the run is not necessary.

How important are all pro WR’s?

Brady averaged 26 TD’s a year for 6 years until Randy Moss showed up, Suddendly Brady had 50 TD’s.

In an article written in 2016 Brady’s stats with and without Gronk were compiled and here is what it revealed:

Rating: 82.4

Compare those numbers to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s over the last five seasons:

Rating: 84.4



Tom Brady’s stats when Gronk plays:

Comp%: 65.3

Yards/attempts: 7.9

Rating: 103.5


Basically Tom Brady without Gronk is Ryan Fitzpatrick.


Supporting cast can dramatically affect a QB.
