" We need to Dump them all, and start from Scratch!!"
Interesting and revealing thread. I, however, have a bit of a different take fwiw. Many Rams fans bemoan the low quality OC hires by Fish but I believe that he didn't have much choice in the matter because any OC worth his salt would NEVER work for an inept idiot like the Fisher King.
Think about it for a minute. Your name is Kyle Shanahan, or Sean McVay, are you going to work for a dude that is stuck in the Stone Age (to quote my very Millennial kids) or a HC like Jay Gruden who knows and understands the modern NFL offense?
Which job would be the most helpful to your career?
Guys, it is my contention that Jeff Fisher hired incompetent fools like himself because that was the only ones he could get.
His "reputation" definitely preceded him and made him a pariah to any up and coming offensive assistant.

5 TD's to 7 INT's, not a good projection. Before i say this guy is all that and a bag of chips I need to see much more of him

They did really well, despite starting out a slow. It took the O-Line a few games to get it's act together. Now, after a Full Season together, I can't wait to see how well they do in Year #2!!Our line made great strides this year. Without their solid play, Goff and Gurley are still considered busts.
I think teams are well aware of his skill set and versatility tbh. His tape is really good, and he can play anywhere in our defense in terms of LB spots. Not to mention that it's hard to find dudes at LB with his type of size and physicality but still offering that range you want, what with all these 230lb beefed-up-safety types college defenses are producing.
This is a guy who can play in any front, can do different things depending on what your defense needs. And he has that size and physicality that's hard to find. That is why I think the draft estimates having him going high are accurate. With a guy like him the demand side of things is larger than it is for a lot of the OLB types, as any team with a LB need has him sittin there on their board with good grades as a fit.
All that aside, though, I think if the Rams draft him he goes right into that spot at ILB on the strong side and shores up our $#itty run defense. And gives us a great duo for many years to come.
Lets get Brockers & Donald a younger very large big playmate in this draft inserted between them so they can DOMINATE in 2018!
We won't know until the combine. He's a great athlete and he could surprise people.Interesting prospect. Seems like a pass rusher Wade could work with. Like his short area quickness. Is he a late third round pick?
You sure? Remember now, that SI is a bunch of doofy hacks...and this reads more like an upside down power ranking list for them. The higher the number, the needier the team, but point taken.![]()
However, I will caution you that Jared may not make a huge jump next year. Progression often isn't linear for young QBs. Until their late 20s, most QBs tend to be inconsistent from year to year.
