I watch a TON of YouTube. One of my faves is Vice Grip Garage. Been watching him for years. He finds old broken down classic (and not so classic) cars and restores them to a running state. I'm a car guy, so I enjoy it, plus he's a hoot.

My wife and I actually Derek Bieri (the creator of VGG) last week at an Endless Summer Cruisin' event in Ocean City. Super nice guy.

Around the NFC West - Through Week 6

Our corners drive me batshit vs SF. In the game yesterday I wanted to strangulate Durant on third down I think it was where he gave the asshole the cushion for the first down, then did a halfass shoulder into him expecting him to fall down after the catch. Of course he didn't fall down.

Corners like ours are low hanging fruit for Ratboy. He'll eat them up all damn day long.

The Rams really need at least one shut down corner. If the pass rush doesn't get a pressure, the back end has trouble holding up.

Last season towards the end, our pass rush was so strong that it probably masked the weakness in the secondary but the depleted whiners and the Colts exposed that weakness over and over.

LEGEND Re: Introduce Yourself

Or in the case of us losing a SB, like we did in SB 36 against the cheating Putriots, I have never gotten over it.
Nor have I. What made it worse was that I had put up blue and gold balloons around my house for a big Superbowl party I was having. After the game, a storm blew in and wrapped those balloons around the upper limbs of some big birch trees in my front yard. Those damn balloons taunted me for over a year.

Demoff on the victory (and other shady tweets)

Our situation is different from the teams that drafted Bowers, Warren, McBride. Maybe I’m wrong but im not going to fact check, but I think those teams needed a starting TE right away and just plugged those guys in. We just signed Parkinson to a solid deal and we have Higbee under contract. They aren’t going to bench them right away.

Also, Higbee, a guy that’s been a pillar of our team for a long time, just got back from that gruesome playoff injury at the end of last year. McVay isnt going to let him go out like that and not let him play one full season before replacing him.
Plus the Rams struggle to get most rookie skill players some snaps when they have guys ahead of them they trust. Example, Kyren and Corum. Also if the Oline was as good as Detroit's maybe blocking wouldn't keep him or Hunter off the field.

Acts of Kindness Thread

The Story of Finley-Jay

This eight-year-old boy (probably now nine years old, if the date is correct) has been giving out so-called "goody bags" to ambulance workers at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (somewhere in the U.K., I would think), containing tea, coffee, sweets, chocolates, and cookies (biscuits, for you Brits reading this), and pens, amongst other needed things. He got the idea from a social media site called "Hit The Ambulance gamers" - hit meaning a random act of kindness, and he's been doing it for years now. All of the items are donated by family and friend, and there are special bags for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Little acts of kindness by kids can often move the hardest of hearts. Let's hope his never hardens.

Rams made blueprint to part with failing QBs - (interesting article)

The hate Goff gets is so weird and undeserved. People made their mind up about him as a rookie and have never let it go. If you look at his career, it compares quite favorably to Matt Ryan's. Yet, Ryan, despite his flaws, was a well-respected QB who many considered a consistent top 10 player at his position. It feels like the only way Goff will ever get that sort of respect is if he wins a Super Bowl (and plays well).
Goff needs a Flacco like playoff run/Super Bowl to shed any negative narrative about him. I have rooted for him since he left Detroit obviously aside from when he plays the Rams. The guy is playing at a high level and is set up for a long playing career.

Rams game after the fact.

Well one good thing about yesterday. The site in post #2 did work the same day, on at 6 when I got home.
Its a great way to watch a game and NO COMEERCIALS which is the best way to watch a game.
Go out and get done what needs to be done on Sundays and watch a commercial free Rams game in the evening.
Just have to make sure you do not find out the score first.
I do that with some Dodger games.

We only get 17 (well probably 20 this year) of these so I try to watch live.

But understand life gets in the way sometimes....

LaNorris Sellers QB U South Carolina

I like his release quite a bit
Not sure how accurate he is but he can spin it for sure

Intermediate accuracy needs work, but the deep balls against Mizzou were perfectly placed. Very quick release. I just wish he wouldn't try to play hero ball all the time; he needs to learn to throw the ball away, live to fight another drive. It cost his team in the redzone.
