Wtf? Where is Eli Apple?

That is the big question. Have they closed to door? Or will they try something next year for AD/Staffords last push? The one and only thing I don't care for is his age.
I think the window is closed with the construction of the roster currently. If they really like Hooker, jumpstart a fresh start by getting him now.
Don't know that there is one that will fall to us but the kid from Virginia, Keytaon Thompson, 6'5" tall 216 lbs. has the tools, maybe a diamond later in the draft.Good summary of the WRs.
Imo Rams also need more speed and/or quickness. Someone with dynamic ability to get open. Stretch the field, in any direction, open the field more for Kupp. Help create explosives, as McVay always used to talk about. Not just Kupp and a possession game (such as AR might have offered had they thrown him the ball.)
Maybe Jefferson has it, but haven't seen it reflected in production on the field or downfield catches. May have good top speed but doesn't seem to have great quickness or great routes. 1/2 as you say. Glass half empty. Atwell has great speed, but not sure about his cutting ability. Rams also haven't made much use of him so far, and not clear he can be an every down receiver with a full route tree.
After trading Cooks, Rams have tried to get more speed/ explosiveness back with DJax, Atwell and OBJ. It worked with OBJ, who probably wasn't a sprinter by the time he was with the Rams but had great cutting ability, could always get open and was a threat anywhere on the field.
Who in the draft can help bring this dynamic element at WR back for the Rams?
The ‘E’ stands for entertainment. Media entertainment - nothing else.If anyone saw Kipers last mock this morning, he has us trading up with KC for the last pick of the 1st round to take Hooker. I like Hooker(s) a lot, but I'm out on that.
I really wish he would have run at his pro day, but, he had the most BP of any back and jumped 38". Pretty good for him. One of my RB guys in the mid-late rounds.
There cold be and I've said countless times none of us know what they'll do in the draft. But the thread is Merlin talking about what he'd do not what the Rams will do. And there will be good players on both sides of the ball and McVay always says he wants play makers doesn't matter the side of the ball they want impact players.Yes, that’s the right answer, but…
McVay predictably will want to try to juice the offense with a WR or RB or TE. And there could be some real prospects still there at #36.
They’re not even catching a glimpse of the playoffs in the distance on the horizon with Jordan Love. They weren't winning any playoff games paying that douche $50m.
Agree! There are so many metrics that show how difficult it is for RB's Gibbs & Achanes size to succeed as an RB1. Kamara is a much tougher back up the gut, McClellan started to get Gibbs carries in short yardage and goal-line at Bama and ended up with the same amount of TD's for this very reason. Go back and watch Kamara he was a guy who broke tackles all over the field not just on the outside at speed. McVay may have a plan for a Gibbs type and I think he may be there, if so I am all in but I do have some concerns. My comp for Gibbs is Jamal Charles. Not only are they more similar size wise, but they have a similar game IMO. I get the Kamara comps too, but Kamara was nearly 220 when he came out I believe.
Im trying to forget El Camino as it was pretty awfulDid you forget El Camino? Im sure he could land just about anything he wanted....
I seem to remember something at an outdoor like stage/concert set upI think they've sponsored a function once or twice since they went back to LA. Hard to remember. But maybe at one of the bars or something.
Sam Bradfordbut for whatever reason, never did?
For me that would be Sam Bradford. Am I right, @-X- ? We sucked so bad to earn that number one draft pick and needed a young stud so badly. We had hope after he dinked and dunked his way to the OROY. But that was the best he'd ever be...
Who is your biggest draft hope, destroyed by reality?
I thought of that. I also wonder if maybe those guys are not as good as we think. Maybe the defensive losses won't be as bad? I kinda hope its because they want to return and the Rams are clearing space for that next year. Those guys all contributed to playing solid defense in the championship run.To me, it looks like they haven't shut the door on a return to the promise land when we have a ton of cap in 2024
I used to travel around the country when I wasn’t busy with work. My two favorite memories involved climbing/hiking. In the Tetons my buddy and I hiked to Lake solitude. That was seven miles. Not sure how many of you know the Reno area but my wife, oldest son, and I just hiked to the top of Peavine mountain from the base. It's only a 6.5 mile hike up but has a 3000' elevation gain. It's no mount Everest or McKinley (did that about 30 years ago) but for a day hike, it was pretty cool.
Keep in mind that my wife went through triple fusion surgery on her back less that a year ago. Hell... She did better than I did.
Remind me what this front office knew before he arrived.I think in a bubble Kyle Shanahan is the better coach. But McVay has a better FO around him that gives him the edge.
