Been a constant issue since they moved back to LA..... of all places WTF.It's so damn frustrating to not be able to hear the questions. With all the money and technology being dedicated to the NFL, why can't they mic up the media so we can hear the questions? Put a damn directional mic in front of the podium and it will catch all the questions without picking up the interviewee. Have someone turn a boom mic on and off while questions are being asked. SOMETHING!
It was and it wasn't. The 1975 NFC Championship game brough me to tears at nine years of age. Knox made a huge mistake after the Rams best post season performance under him defeating the Cardinals with Ron Jaworski at QB and that was also after Jaworski scored a winning TD to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night. Know decided to go with James Harris, who was injured the last several weeks (shoulder) and that decision was one Knox would look back on with great disdain. This was a Rams team coming off a 10-4 season, where they were favored by some to win it all after going 12-2 in 1973. But disappointing playoff losses to Dallas (27-16) in 1973 and Minnesota (14-10) in 1974 (after a 19-10 playoff victory over Washington, capped by a 58 yard pick 6 by Isaiah Robertson), had some thinking they just weren't good enough. The 73 season was remarkable because following the Miami Dolphins "Perfect Season", the Rams were 5 points from perfection after losing to Minnesota 10-9 in week 7 and Atlanta 15-13 in week 8. In the 74 postseason after beating Washington, the Rams lost to Minnesota with the help of a phantom false start by Tom Mack. Down 7-3, the Rams offense went 98 yards early in the 3rd quarter but the false start backed them up 5 and after a 3 yard scramble by Harris, his pass was tipped and picked off on the next play. Minnesota's offense went on an 80 yard drive to go up 14-3 and Harris hit Harold Jackson on a 44 yard TD but the Rams never threatened again. The 75 season was described this way.....
From the Football Encyclopedia
"The Rams had never jelled into the superpower some people expected but they still had undeniable quality and depth in all phases. The defensive unit, featuring Jack Youngblood and Isaiah Robertson, ranked next to the Minnesota Vikings in frugality of points allowed. The offense had a solid line led by Tom Mack, fine charging runners like Larry McCutcheon, Cullen Bryant, Jim Bertelson and John Cappellleti. James Harris at quarterback was just good enough to lead this club to a runaway victory in the Western Division. Chuck Knox found richeds on his bench when Harris injured his shoulder on December 14th and backup Ron Jaworski took the team to a victory in the finale."
One thing is for sure......it is a great time to be a Ram fan.
Doesn't surprise me. The worst players sometimes make the best coaches.Ironically Kolone is an offensive assistant coach for Green Bay now.
Ugh, I thought I couldn't go, but now I can.
Did someone say there's a place for ticket exchanges at face value for those who can't attend on Facebook? Or did I read that on Reddit?
I joined a Rams tickets for sale on Facebook, but it's just scalpers charging a fortune.
Well first he has to find one, which may prove difficult, withReeder will have more time now for the ladies.
Just remember; not everyone is always right, like us.Agree Den, but If I were writing an article on a team, I would at least do some research on their past
season as well as their roster and consensus outlook. Would take at most 30-45 minutes of online digging.
I would rather put in the time to try to know about who/what I was writing.
Why? Because my name would be on it But that's just me.
However, at the core , there's so much about their job that I'm totally ignorant to. Have not walked one day in authors shoes
... he has a low-MTF ... and ... when that's multiplied by his High-Impact-Tote (The Man's High-Tote is LOW!!!!!) the result is a very low-ATEX!...
He's one of those damn guys you build a team around BUT ...
...
(Missed Tackle Forced % × 0.4) + (High Impact Tote % × 0.6)
MTF rate is self-explanatory. And HIT % is the amount of 15+ yard runs from a back divided by total carries during the regular season.
He looks like a D boy.I always thought he looked more like a farmer than a baseball player
