After Jacksons health it is all about the interior line.
Avila was not good most of the season. Repeatedly beaten badly one on one is pass pro. Off balance and lunging or getting out of position and not being able to recover. He was bailed out multiple times by Stafford quick release.
Dotson you can same the same about to a lesser degree.
Limmer filled in as best he could and certainly showed he can play in the league but he made mistakes, which is to be expected.
Now, both Avila and Dotson (along with every one else at various times) were injured. The lack of depth may have forced them back earlier that what would have been ideal. I get that and think they get an "incomplete" grade over all.
All that said, both had a down year.
Both will need to bounce back for the Rams offense to take a step up.
There was a looooong stretch of the season where the Rams offense was struggling to approach 20 points. 3rd and 8 or 3rd and 11 were common place.
As always, there is more than one cause to ongoing misfirings.
But, the OL inside did not help.
Shelton in at C. McVay has said he will help the continuity of the OL in both run and pass games, but, particularly pass game.
There were other FA centers that graded out a little higher than Shelton and got more money. Are they that much better than Shelton? Probably not.
Center is a position that doesn't have a big middle class.
There are a few very good center at the top and just sort of "everyone else".
Hopefully Shelton provides Limmer good lessons and helps his game mature so he can replace him as the full time starter in a year or two.
I can really see the Rams line going either way this year.
Its not an elite unit, but, it can be effective and good if healthy.
G/C/G just have to be better this year as well.
Another movie that couldn’t be made today.
Exactly ! Time fillers like this kind help ROD Heads like us get through offseason.ya, maybe a tad early, but at this point... who cares...lol
I love the opening to the Shadow Broker when Liara and Shepard are chasing an enemy in a hover car and she keeps telling Sheppard to turn right when he's supposed to turn left and vice versa.Amazing mission. Liara is one of my favorite Mass Effect characters. She's just so loyal to Shepard, no matter what, and her evolution from the terrified young scientist she was in 1 into the Shadow Broker taking the place of the Yahg in 2 and 3 is one of the best character twists you can imagine. Really fun fight as well.
Tutu better be the #1 WR next year, or @OldSchool will bitch and whine about it forever, "We coulda had Creed!"https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...uts-2025-espn-jeremy-fowler-position-rankings
Avila and Dotson both got honorable mention. Feels a bit low for Dotson.
Kansas City has the number 1 interior lineman.
Done quite a bit of research over the years & have read a ton of articles.Really? That is fascinating. How do you get these little nuggets, Den? You're like the Paul Harvey of ROD! Thanks, brother![]()
“Don’t talk about my Ellenbooger like that!”It's the offseason and these lame excuses for "journalists" are desperate for attention.![]()
It was definitely sarcasm. Come on man. Keep up. :evil:Not taking shots because I don't know if this is sarcasm..
A few different national football pods I've listened to have discussed how unwise it seems to be to draft an off-ball LB high. Going from college defensive responsibilities and competing against NFL offenses make it incredibly tough to find players who are worth a high pick at that position. I think the Rams were just ahead of the league on that.
Playback speed under settings is my friend. I realize we have non native English speakers on this board, so it may not work best for all. This is a deep dive video into the Rams from last season, to FA, to the draft, including coaching staff and FO. At 1:07 long maybe not for everyone, but I believe Brett Kollman puts out some of the more thoughtful content on the NFL.
Definitely worth a listen if you have the time.

Gotta be better at finishing the sack and/or TFL.Love Verse but he needs more production and less talking.
Love the attitude and fear he strikes.
But he needs to reach that next level to be elite. I hope he puts in the work.
Very true at that! lolI should have clarified, lose/lose for Rams fans. Meaning most Rams fans wanted neither to win the Super Bowl.
I mean, it's 2025. You can fuck whoever you'd like. Lol
Right, gotcha.Your shitter fanhood is showing.
