Niners did a job on him? He has 9 catches for 95 yards and 1 td in 4 fucking games. 2 of those games were againsty atlanta and Az. How many recievers have had better stats in just one game this year? spoiler alert, alot.
Yep and there's multiple reasons for that. It would be cool if we could just point to one thing but I don't think it's that simple.

Some of it is the QB. Some of it is poor protections. Some of it is McVay. And some of it may be Robinson not fully knowing the offense to the level of some of the guys who have been here.

Oh and some of it is sample size. So I get your alarm I just don't share it. Stafford will get his shit together. Protections will improve. McVay will figure out his shit. And if Robinson is struggling with some of the advanced shit in this offense he'll get it down at some point this season.

I love the arob addition. Hell, I picked him in the early 3rd round of my expensive FF league, but 118th in catches, 111th in yards, 39th in tds, and 79th in YPC and you arent wondering why? Kirk is killing it in JAX, first year. AJ brown in philly. rookies, london and olave with mariotta and winston as their qbs are doing better. Im not saying hes a bust but what the fuck is going on when he (suposedly) has the perfect situation. It's not alarm. It's reality. Why haven't the rams been able to improve this situation?

I think I talked him up more post-signing than you did wolf. I've always appreciated his game and he seemed like a perfect WR for Stafford and I was crazy high on his addition. So I still think it's gonna happen. How can it not outside of injury.

But when it comes to this offense it always struggles vs powerful fronts and we faced two of them in those four games. New guys settling into key roles at LT and RG, plus the OL injuries. It's been chaos and Stafford's obviously not a hot starter early in the season when he doesn't play preseason. McVay hits windows where he goes apeshit on the pass and we had what, 56 drop backs vs SF? I forget. So just across the board the offense is a clusterfuck.

Until they settle this OL it's gonna be shitty and down the road this season I'm sure Robinson will be a security blanket for Stafford but he isn't right now. So this might take a little more time.

IMO I think it's Robinson. Watch how he runs routes. He doesn't get separation on a lot of his routes. There are times it looks like he's just going through the motions. I'm hoping he snaps out of it. IMO the best way to do that is to challenge him. Start McCutcheon the next two games. If Lance plays like I think he will (because he's hungry) hopefully it will light a fire under Robinson's ass. This offense isn't the same without Jefferson to take the top off. The only player who can do that without Tutu is Harris. Play McCutcheon and Harris and I think we will see the offense we expect to see.

Tutu is a bust that much is clear. Jefferson's absence has been huge. Jefferson should return i week 8. Robinson is opening the door for OBJ.

OBJ might not come to LA if the Rams don't right the ship for a deep playoff run.

McVay needs to at least try to use Tutu and McCutcheon more. At this point taking Robinson off the field more to give those young guys more chances doesn’t even hurt us because Robinson isn’t really helping much at all. IMO Powell has had some decent plays but he seems to only add more short catches which we don’t really need more of when we already have Kupp and Higbee getting tons of short passes. The Rams needed Allen Robinson to be a big weapon and make big plays. Since he has been a disappointment McVay needs other options to try to spice things up so lets see Tutu and McCutcheon please!!

Also anyone using the bad OL as an excuse for Robinsons close to 0 production should go look at the Bengals. Even though their line is terrible and gives up tons of sacks they still have 3 wrs who are able to produce good numbers and make plays. Maybe it’s partly Stafford and McVays fault but Robinson is looking terrible.

Love reading your posts. Makes me feel like I’m on crack and LSD at the same time.

By the way….what does your girlfriend DO for a living?
Works with people all ages basically. So she is excellent at seeing things & evaluating all kinds of people & situations.I could break her down fairly well.Has lots of patients & can put up with my crap.
Took her to a couple different training camps the last couple years. Her favorite part is watching warm ups in the white pants.
On Jan. 2 against Baltimore was such a big game for The Rams. Rapp & Ramsey had that fight & she described what was happening in the game. I’d say if The Rams lose that game the season would have been over.Raheem & Mcvay wouldn’t have been able to control the LA media & Fan base. -Eric Weedle was dialed up right after that game I believe. So that makes sense of how perfect the timing was.
I know you asked a simple question, but not looking back from yesterday my point was maybe that memory over the weekend.
Watched the Bills vs.Ravens game & before half there was a PI on the Bills that wasn’t called.Ravens have to punt & Bills score before half with 16 seconds or so? That was basically a 10 point switched & a Ref game managing a in his eyes a 50/50 ball.
Von Miller is a Bill & Robert(trees) is a Titan.Saw Marcus Peter ,didn’t notice Roger Saffold. Just making connections with Ravens,Bills & Rams players.
I go to sports Bars every so often during the NFL season just to get a feel of different teams.

RAMS LEGEND !! This guy cares.

My take on A’ Robinson from training camp & this Monday is that Stafford has to throw him better balls.

If any Rams Fan wants to take Monday’s game different they can.
Would I say Ram Fans that think Stafford is depending on Cooper Kupp to much ? Answer is pick 6.
That Kendrick’s Rookie is special & if he has more experience (confidence) he has a pick 6 himself going the other way.

—That FREAKING Deebo TD says what I’m taking about in a way. Taylor (NOT) Rapp(UP) & TO MUCHO(car & outfit last season) RAMsey letting that TD go the other? Talk about game changer.
The next series Kendrick comes back & helps get a 3 & out giving The Rams a chance.
Back in training camp I saw him shut down Robinson, but your not going to stop him if a couple of those TD tosses are where they need to be.
Then again is we’re talking Wolford & Stafford maybe thise Reps matter in training camp(Mcvay,Reggie)? I’d rather a healthy Stafford. The thing with Allen Robinson is he wants to WIN!! He blocks & is doing the little things better.

I have to ADD, Cam Akers is a HORRIBLE pass blocking RB.
I really like D. Henderson, but his vision stinks at finding the right hole.
His running style has changed as well.I think he has that breakaway ability, but that has gone waste side.He must have been told just get those 4 to 5 yards.Keep the chains moving.

That pitch to Cam Akers ? I questioned, but that must have been a mistake on Cam Akers. There is no way Kolone could beat the MLB just to the right of him on a pitch left.If Cam just runs we’re the blocking is set up,is he just needs to find the MLB & set him up with the blocking he had. That is just the one player he needs to beat & by running so wide he basically gives himself up.Kolone still has 5 yards to get there. If he stays tight & then bounce the play could work as well.
—I’m just glad Mcvay see’s it all. I also think The Play Calling(first 15 Cohen) is better than in 2021.

ARob and Stafford were lighting it up in TC, ARob making tough one handed catches, snagging jump balls deep in the endzone, Stafford putting it where only ARob can get it. They looked in sync.

WTF happened? Its not like they weren't on the same page, they were. Clearly there's a problem with one or both of them.

Stafford didn’t lead him deep enough in the endzone. That also messes up the timing to jump. It’s as basic as a Alley-Op in basketball giving enough loft to get up a get it.Stafford had the time as well.
I liked the offensive line play. I think they can(will) get a lot better, but 6 sacks can’t happen. Mcvay knows it isn’t on them.
Funny how some are saying HENDO is done & it’s all CAM now.If CAM can’t block,CAM won’t play much.

I disagree. I remember a play early on against SF, maybe a third down, Robinson beat his man off the line quick and was either running a go or a post and Stafford was locked into Kupp the entire time, had to make a great throw and catch to convert. If he sees ARob, I think it's a TD.

I dont think the lack of production is solely on Robinson, but rather a combination of Stafford not having much time with him, Stafford being locked onto Kupp a lot of the times, and poor pass blocking not giving Stafford enough time to go deep through progressions.

When we got Robinson I got stoked watching his game film from the Bears. I began wondering how is anyone going to stop this offense this year. Could understand why they let Woods go.

Then this year happens and I wonder if I am looking at the same ARob as what was on the tape? To my eyes two completely different people. And a horrible move on from Woods.

Hard to follow why he can't do the same with the Rams. Someone is not doing their job and I can't tell which player or coach is messing this guy up. Even himself somehow.

Rams are 29th in TTP in the NFL right now. Can't blame all that on the O-line. The hell with Chemistry and Stafford. Seasoned professionals who are highly paid should not need time to get a job done.

Once again to me it looked like Robinsons body language is not good and he isn’t going 100% every play. He must be frustrated.
Wouldn't you be frustrated with Skowronek and Higbee having more targets than you. Higbee has 20 more targets and Kupp having 36 more through 4 games!! How could a $15M free agent acquisition who was hyped all off-season and by all accounts looked terrific, not be frustrated?

We traded Woods for a 6th round pick, and paid Robinson pretty much the same contract. No way ARob is better than Woods in this offense after what we've seen. Woods started slow last year, but ARob isnt even on the field. After 4 weeks Robinson is averaging 3 targets a game. THREE FUCKING TARGETS PER GAME.

This Woods trade was one of the worst moves made by this regime thus far. People told me to calm down after last week but my point continues to get driven home emphatically.

Which would you rather have right now?

Here's a question since I'm boycotting NFL right now due to paying those fuckers for an inferior All 22 last season... How many throws has Stafford made of let's say 20+ yards and does he have an obvious accuracy issue in general on such throws. Because if he does that might mean that elbow is a problem and he's playing through it again. Neither of which would surprise me.

Also and btw this is not a "let's make an excuse for the QB" angle. But the elbow was an issue last year. It was worse than they figured it would be after resting it this offseason. And the Rams paid him. So from the perspective of did we buy on a guy who is nearing the end it's a valid thing to discuss.

And yes I realize he just won us a Super Bowl. But still this is something that is nagging me.

.

mcvay better do something because this stafford - kupp love affair isn't working this season. it's working for those two lovebirds but the offense is suffering because of it.

I think Stafford is really locking on Kupp and Higbee because those are the guys he trusts right now and doesn't feel like he can make it through his progression due to the crappy O-line play. He is just predetermining who he is going to throw to. If and when the line gets better I think we will start seeing the ball spread around better

I focused a lot of my watching on ARob and I will say, he just doesn't get open as much as Kupp and Higbee or even Skowronek. It's weird. Either they are running too long to develop routes with him, he's lacking that break away speed or clean routes we require. I definitely am a huge fan of us just force feeding him just to develop chemistry. Quick slants. WR screens. Short stuff to just get him his looks. He's a possessive receiver. Let him fight for it. He's not the same type of skill set that Stafford is accustomed to currently. Stafford needs to treat him like Calvin Johnson light. Just throw it to him and let him get it.

It seems as many have forgotten how many games it took for Von to really impress as a Ram? Or for OBJ...

We all just live in that magical postseason run moment that these guys were at their best and we forget the process before thar could happen.

Pop Quiz: What are the two position groups in pro football that most require continuity and time together before they are playing at high level?????

O-line and Secondary.

Both were likely going to take a few games to gel early this season in the first place - and that was before the injuries...

The Rams played a longer and harder season than any SB winner I can think of. 21 hard-fought games including 8 games vs our own division and 11 games vs playoff teams... and there were very few easy wins for a SB winner. Few comfortable leads for us to rest our best players - they were always needed on the field on the final drive. Ffs we won the div. round, the NFCC and the Superbowl by a total of 9 fucking points between the 3.

Last season we saw lots of promise early. It didn't mean much though because it wasn't long before we looked totally lost and on our way out of the playoff picture. Then we know what happened.

Let's give it time and see how it all plays out before we write off new players and our season as a whole.... because we're only at 2-2 with 2 losses vs the SB favorites and the fucking 49ers....

Last years SB winners wouldn't have fared much better in these games either, imo...

I was watching a show the other day and it said Allen Robinson was ranked 144 out of 145 WR in separation on his routes run. I think he is washed.
