The refs actually screwed the Rams in the first half. The Stafford pick should have been wiped out with a personal foul on #54 Warner and a whiner player did not get called for a facemask on Ramsey. PLUS, our first two drives ended after 3rd downs with the whiners holding our WRs in case nobody saw it.
The int would have stood... That would have been a 15yd personal foul penalty because it happened after the int

I don't know, he probably just trying to get out in front of the discipline he will get. Make it look like he feels bad about it. Maybe not. One thing is for sure, it was just dumb luck they refs were not looking.

Seems like the refs don't look (even though one ref's job is to watch the QB) when Stafford gets nailed after the play, or like Goff getting face masked against the Saints in the last NCFCG which wasn't called.

Let's see if Stafford wins this Super Bowl. Once you're part of the elite QB group you'll get some of that attention. He's still in "That guy played in Detroit and sucked ass" referee status. If he wins it all year one of his great escape there's a good chance they elevate him a bit. Maybe he'll move into the "this guy's pretty good so we'll at least call the late hits" grouping.

I would be disgusted if I were a Whiner fan. They were dirty, dirty.

They were clearly headhunting.

Does the league issue fines and penalties???

Does player safety matter???

Bet Warner gets fined for the shot on Stafford.

Greenlaw had a cheap shot on Cam in the first quarter-hit on the back after he was down.

Warner hits OBJ in the head on the sideline.

Dirty, cheap shot bastards.

Fuck them.
Don't hold your breath waiting for any fine.

Yeah I wouldn’t call the a drop, he probably didn’t pick up the ball in time to make a better adjustment. Would have been an incredible catch had he pulled it off.
Either Skowronek didn't track the ball correctly or he and Stafford weren't on the same page. Either way a receiver like Kupp or OBJ would likely have caught it imo. Fortunately we won anyway but it was a big missed opportunity.

They were clearly trying to goad us into losing control of our emotions - which - I'll be honest, totally worked on me watching from home. I'm glad the players kept their cool.
I was furious at the cheap shots too. Good thing the Rams kept it under control, it's always the retaliation that gets the penalty.

Apparently not. But taunting is a major infraction.

Skowronek is one of those receivers that will drop the easy ones and catch the hard ones, hopefully, as he evolves, he'll become more consistent, but he's better catching the ball turning into the route instead of over the shoulder.

FWIW, the 49ers were cheap all game and their fans can kiss my Italian ass. IMO, the 49ers knew they had to do that for the game to be close and for the most part the Refs let it happen. I dislike the 49ers and through they years, I don't mind a physical game, but what some of them tried to pull even Warner was just not right.

It's 5 degree in upstate New York and will be 71 degrees in San Antonio today. You ever wonder about your choices in life?

I really think the League hung us out to dry. The type of officiating we got put a lot of our players at risk of injury. The niners played a very dirty game. One of the worst I have witnessed in the last 20 years. I get that it’s the playoffs. But the whiners were definitely head hunting.

I’m not believing Warner’s apology is heart felt either. I’m just not buying it. That was as intentional a head butt from behind as I’ve ever seen. A real cheap shot. He (and Ward and the rest) will always be dirty in my eyes going forward.

The better team won. We are ready for the Super Bowl baby! Battle tested and we are ready to go!! GO RAMS!!

It's only a matter of time before we are in Fort Worth so I believe, it will be worth the wait.

SoFi showed live footage of 49ers fans leaving the stadium.
Best thing about it is there's even a Pats fan wearing his Brady shirt in tow.

The facemasks were easier to ignore. Most of them were slight. A penalty, but slight. Plus you could see vinobitch looking right at him and letting it go. We have not seen a shot as to where the refs were on that play, but it was so blatant, I can't imagine them not calling it. Obviously a ref wasn't doing his assigned job.

WAY before the cheat shot on Stafford by Warner (and that was only our second series!), I was telling my family the Whiners were purposely hitting in the head and tackling below the waist. I was holding my breath every time Kupp was tackled (especially considering our last SB run).

I'm glad they at least couldn't ignore the OBJ decapitation on our tying drive. And it would have been really hard for me to digest that Scott penalty on a perfectly timed hit, when all these dirty plays went uncalled, so I'm glad they picked up that flag.

I may be delusional, but I just don't see the Bengals being that kind of team. I'm very glad the Whiners are in our rearview mirror this season.

GO RAMS!
