Could be out a week or two. Could be out the next 6. He had a knee injury (ACL) in 2013 missing the last 7 games, followed by 6 years of health (missed 1 g in 2019). Missed all of 2020 (ankle), 2 games last year (ankle/foot) and 1 to 6 this season.

I'd want to sign one last huge deal too with Father time showing up annually and to his credit, he found Buffalo.

I was disappointed he left, but the guy got a better offer and 95% of people will take a better job offer when they have the chance. It's not like he'd played his entire career here.

I have an irrational dislike of the Bills for the sole and very dubious reason that a Bills fan sat in front of me in St Louis that one and only time I got to see a game there and he was an utter mouthy twat.

It's not a strong enough dislike that I don't like them sticking it to the Pats though.

The Rams did the right thing in letting him walk. An injury like this makes you feel better about it. If I'm not mistaking, this isn't Von's first knee injury. Aging like wine and knee injuries don't go together.

As for Stafford, I comment I saw early on the first page. I think he'll keep playing. That's a ton of jack to walk away from. I'd say the Rams are officially on the market for a young gun to groom behind Stafford. I'm not sure how many years his new contract is.

If they shut Stafford down for the rest of the year I think with all that time he gets the itch to come back. He's not 45. He's still got a few good years left. I believe he'd hate to leave those good years on the table and walk away.

I personally find it funny that there are people saying they are happy we didn't re-sign Von Miller because I'm fairly confident if we did, that move would have been widely applauded. My only gripe was waiting so long for him to make a decision (held us up from being active to replace him) and him bullshitting after the fact that it wasn't about the money. I'm not rooting for him getting hurt or pointing at that for a reason not to sign him because in football, anyone can get hurt at anytime. If he comes back in time for the playoffs, the Bills will be just fine.

I agree with you that Stafford will come back. I'm only ok with him being shut down if it is in relation to a health concern. If he's deemed ready to play, I'd rather have him play to better evaluate our young offensive players like McCutcheon or Kyren Williams. We'll see what the Rams will do.

But they went "all in" just the same. Anything short of a Lombardi is unacceptable....isn't that what everybody said about the Rams last year? Except we didn't pay VM (or OBJ) $45 mil last year.

Agree. I look at the 2022 Buffalo Bills as the 2021 Rams-Times-Two.

The Rams made it to the Super Bowl in 2018; and were good in 2017, 2019 and 2020 (a winning record each year, two playoff appearances and a sweet playoff win in Seattle). After four quality seasons, the Rams were about as aggressive as they could be in 2021, in an effort to win a Lombardi ... And They DID IT!

The Bills were a playoff-team in 2019. Made it to the AFC Championship Game in 2020. Last year they suffered a Brutal Loss in the Divisional Round to K.C., unable to hold onto two separate leads in the final minute. Buffalo would have been a favorite against Cincinnati in the AFC Championship, and might have won the Super Bowl.

This year, Buffalo has been about as aggressive as it could be in an effort to win a Lombardi. They need to win.

As painful and disappointing as this year has been for us Rams' die-hard fans, just imagine the frustration and disappointment if the Rams had lost any one of their final three "As-Close-As-Could-Be" 2021 playoff games.

Winning it all last season was So Important ... So Meaningful ... in my opinion.

I believe they are fine as long as he's ready for the playoffs since that's where he'll be needed the most. The Bills are making the playoffs and although Von Miller is a huge pass rush loss, they still have Josh Allen who to me is the biggest driver in terms of whether or not the Bills win it all. I agree that they definitely need to win it all but I wouldn't say Von Miller is the sole reason why it's Super Bowl or bust. It's Superbowl or bust for them because they were on the brink of making it to the Superbowl last year and now added Von Miller to get over that last hump (aka the Chiefs if they play them lol)

If you are referring to Goff, the guy isn't clutch, except for the one playoff game vs the Saints. I watched STafford being critical in winning three playoffs games in a row. Sure Kupp was huge, but Stafford fed him the ball, even when the defense knew it was coming to him. What they did last year was epic.
