The Bills took the risk for the chance to win a Super Bowl. I can't blame them and as the Rams did the same with the Stafford trade. You have to wait and see if it will pay off.
I always say the Rams need more help for AD which Miller did. I was disappointed that Miller signed with the Bills leaving AD to do it mostly by himself. Miller has a dead cap hit of
40.175M in 2023 or 20.875M in 2024. The dead money goes as far as 2026. The Rams had a lot of big deals already and it just didn't make sense to match that deal with the money and longevity.

I think Miller talked himself into reasons why he went to Buffalo. Von has said it was about getting Buffalo an SB and him being the first to win three SBs with three different teams. I think it was mostly the money. Had the deal the Rams offered been close to the deal Buffalo offered he would have been a Ram.
In the end, it's a business. Very few players take much lesser guaranteed money to stay with a team when they are free agents. I didn't want to see him get hurt. It is interesting to see if the risk will be worth it for the Bills. In the end, I don't want to see Miller being the SB hero and probably will not want to see then in the SB.
