Parkinson, White, Jackson, Williams, and Curl.

Missed on 3 of 5 free agent expected starters.
It happens, but best players gotta play from here on out.
Over priced depth. And as they say to gambling addicts. Never chase your losses.
And if you are tempted to do so? Cut them outright.

All I know is that was as ugly an L as I can remember.

I hate Monday night football now that I live on the East Coast.
If I was retired, perhaps things would be different, but I have to get up early and be sharp.
I'm tired this morning. I"m sick with myself for staying up so late to watch that bullshit.
That L affected me this time fellas.

I hope everyone has a good week.

Time to bounce back.
Get up or stay down.

I can only speak for myself.
I'm going to turn in a good work week for my job, turn in a good week as a father and a husband for my family, and turn in a good week for myself.

Go Rams Fans.

Rams have to still be dead last in first qtr/first half scoring after last night. IMO that’s a glaring problem this deep into the season.

-The scripted stuff ain’t working
-Players not ready to play
-defense not scouted properly
???

I've got nothing to add. Just tired of seeing this offense do nothing. The O-line sucked, and we have no explosive playmakers on offense. And it was shocking to see THREE new offensive linemen out there when only 1 had to be replaced. They were all rusty and had no cohesion playing next to each other. Even I was thinking before the game that playing 3 new guys on the line might lead to some problems., And I'm not a coach! Horrible call there and the Dolphins took advantage. Sad way to lose.

PS - Noteboom sucks.

Slow starts week after week, one of the worst in the league in scoring TDs in the redzone....really accentuated because they aren't getting many big splash scoring plays either and in the bottom third in 3rd down conversion. A bad recipe for the offense.
Will be interesting to see if the OL gels over the next couple of weeks with the starters back.
That said this win would have been major because of the upcoming games.....Patriots, Eagles, Saints, Bills, Whiners.....can the Rams go 4-1 over that stretch to get to 8-6?
Doubtful.
Its possible but doubtful.
3-2 or 2-3 is more likely.
The Whiners being gifted a win by the seemingly bottomless well of stupidity that is Todd Bowles didn't help, but, in reality the Rams will have to jump two teams to win the west. Unlikely again.
Way too many wasted opportunities this week and this season.

O.L out of sync, TE is an issue.
Matt has been uncharacteristically inconsistent.

Red Zone scoring was an issue and seems down this season (not sure what the stats say)

We will figure it out ….. eventually

White was a roll of the dice from the jump.

Williams has been good.

Ive come around on Curl as his play has improved over the last few weeks.

Jackson has played, shocking for a guy who's never stayed healthy (blue font). I didn't love the signing from the go because I think they overpaid for an ok G. Him playing C doesn't make a ton of sense and that showed last night. But, maybe he can grow in that role and be fine.

Parkinson has been ok, but, just ok. I don't know if McVay offense is really going to ever has a big role for the TE. It is interesting Allen has been playing more than Parkinson at this point.
The TE routes tend to be the typical underneath, check down stuff or the roll out 5 yard passes mostly. There were occasions that Higbee would be used to attack the seem downfield. Haven't seen that much from any other TE. If his blocking can continue to improve Allen can certainly be a complimentary piece of the offense as a receiver however.

It feels to me this offense is stuck trying to resurrect the past. It's gone. Teams need to evolve and change. The defense is in the process.

Stafford's best years are behind him. Let's try freshening this offense. Who's our future Qb? Why aren't we grooming one.

Rams are one of the worst in both red zone scoring and 3rd down conversion.
The plan for the O seems to be a ball control offense with Williams and physical OL and short to mid passes to a talented WR core.
It looks great and controls possession of the ball when working, but, because there aren't many explosive plays it can lead to a lot of 3 and outs when not working.
It has been two games in a row the OL has been dominated.
1-1 thanks to Stafford heroics.

There is no future QB in the roster and the likelihood of being able to draft one is unlikely.

The OL was bad, Puka had a drop, Kyrens fumble was a back breaker...

But IMO Stafford lost this game. Credit and blame to a QB who is supposed to elevate those around him.

I am frustrated that McVay continuously has games like this - or rather that we have games like this under McVay.

What a performance by the defense. Yes the Dolphins scored 13 second half points, but that is a damn good offense (that scored more on Arizona and Buffalo the last two weeks) and they allowed under 300 yards, sacks and turnovers.

This is a game the offense needed to dominate - we had a personnel advantage across the board against their defense.

I have no idea what I just watched last night.

Fitting that the Dolphins game 4 years ago is where I jumped off the Goff bandwagon, and after last night I am halfway off the Stafford bandwagon as well.

Let’s just call it for what it was

We choked on offense

McVay is not to blame for players not executing

The D is still inconsistent mainly because some of the players are what they are while others are playing great

The future looks bright and we might still turn this season around
wow! nice vent you would think we won that game.
myself i think mcvay got severely out coached maybe that model type wife and new kid at home has him distracted.

with puka and cooper need to be hit in stride so they can get those rac yards because we have no deep threat.
also why didn't we role stafford out in the first half and is stafford getting old right before our eyes

i understand the need to knock the rust off but why take limmer out he had been doing a fine job

I'm a believer in using at least one late draft pick on a Qb every year. More effort should be put into finding and developing the most important position on a football team.

Let's stay reasonable folks. We're all gonna have opinions! Mine is that the fatal decision was to change the OLine! It was a bad decision because what you had was working together much better than we saw last night. Boom, Avila and Jackson was too much change for guys that had not started for awhile.

The result is Stafford was pressured and Williams was bottled up. Those two guys were used to the former Oline. Boom was worse of all but Avila and Jackson were avg to below avg at best...and it really affected the offense...IT WAS GALRINGLY OBVIOUS THAT, THAT WAS NOT A GOOD MOVE!!!

It simply makes getting into the playoffs a lot tougher now! The wise thing, as I see it, was to work Avila, Boom, and Jackson back in slowly not overhaul the Oline all at once in a pivotal game!

I'm done...and it was just pitiful that the offense couldn't show up, when the defense had played so well!!!

I agree with this too.
The odds of finding one late in the draft is slim however.
There are plenty of examples of exceptions over time however.
McVay is a good enough coach that even in bad, injury ridden bad years the Rams will win enough games....this year likely 7-9....to be out of the top of the first round to land one of the big prospects.

In terms of value the Rams are getting great value from the lowest paid Defensive unit in the league. As far as the Offense is concerned considering the money being spent on that side of the ball it's been a really poor investment. Stafford is looking really old out there at times.

Not seeing the Stafford connection with age yet. Just not seeing it. He's not the problem. He can be at times but he is human and has always played that way

This game was an absolute shit show! McVay appears to be distracted and does not have his head in the game for whatever reason. His decisions and play calling leave a lot to be desired and are slimily not good enough for today's NFL standards.

I also think Ramsey was a big reason they played us well. He knows all our ins n outs and he probably knew exactly how to attack us and when.

I think this has been our biggest issue.
I Love Stafford and want him to play for us as long as he can, but we need to get this figured out.
The KW play in the red zone wasn’t the only play he missed.

If anyone is going to rewatch and break down the Defense, keep an eye on #14.
From what I saw at game speed, Durant made some huge mistakes.
