LOL And a 2nd round pick that has 48 catches in 2 years isn't anything to brag about. He hasn't lived up to his draft status just like Jones. Jimmy G sucked so bad he lost his job to Trey Lance. Yet he gets a 2nd chance and Mayer gets a 2nd chance but Jones doesn't. Arbitrary judgement at it's finest.I'm all for a second chance QB, heck Garoppolo is on his 4th team, but that isnt Daniel Jones. He just sucks IMO
So Ram, is that you??LOL And a 2nd round pick that has 48 catches in 2 years isn't anything to brag about. He hasn't lived up to his draft status just like Jones. You decide Jones isn't worth a second chance but Jimmy G who sucked so bad he lost his job to Trey Lance was worth a 2nd chance? Mayer who hasn't done anything after being drafted in the 2nd round also deserves a chance in fact you'd rather have him on the roster than a rookie TE who has looked as good or better in college than Mayer did. I just don't subscribe to your random decisions on who does and doesn't warrant a 2nd chance. So Ram, is that you??
WTF are you talking about?
Its simple, I dont find it necessary to give a 2nd chance to a player who didnt deserve a 1st chance in Jones. I trust in McVay when it comes to Garoppolo and since he's a Ram I'll support itYou decide Jones isn't worth a second chance but Jimmy G who sucked so bad he lost his job to Trey Lance was worth a 2nd chance? That gristle!Whomever they bring in or draft I'm just hopeful that they remember PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS AND BLOCKING in their evaluations. The kid has got to have that Dawg in him.
For the umpteenth time please stay the fuck away from goddamn Milroe. He is Cam Newton WITHOUT the arm. Can't hit the fucking broad side of a barn standing 10 yards away. He's an even worse version of Anthony Richardson who is about to lose his job to Daniel Jones. Please go back and watch Alabama games the last 2 years, he's god-awful. Trust me, the Alabama faithful are happy as fuck now that he's gone.I like Milton but would rather draft Milroe

Milroe is an entirely coachable QB who CANT FUCKING THROW! You're lying if you've watched almost every Alabama snap the last 2 years and think this guys a QB. He's a bigger and faster version of Jalen Hurts without any of the accuracy.I’ve watched almost every snap.
If cam newton was coachable, he’d be in the HOF
Milroe is entirely coachable and is a really smart, good kid
At worst you could probably turn him into am explosive RB/WR gadget guy if he didn't work out as a QB. Not taking him high though... late 3rd maybe if you get another pick in a trade down, but then McVay better see something he really likes in him as a QB.Milroe is an entirely coachable QB who CANT FUCKING THROW! Aren’t DBs and many LBs almost always going to catch a TE from behind?I haven't watched much of Helm. You say YAC machine .... does that mean he has above average speed? Any defenders going to catch him from behind on those screen plays?
It seems when the Rams run that play, our TE's seems to get tackled from behind sometimes.
Not if the Linebackers are Reeder or Rozeboom.Aren’t DBs and many LBs almost always going to catch a TE from behind?
Helms speed is not great but the thing about him - and when things are faster in NFL one can ask how well this translates - is how fluid he is, he can bend and turn while keeping balance as a runner enough that he seems to gain an extra 2-5 yards at or near contact because of how he can maneuver.Aren’t DBs and many LBs almost always going to catch a TE from behind?
Top LBs in the draft are right at about 4.5, top TEs 4.7 in the 40. 3 cones are about the same for both. 10yd, LBs are slightly faster on average. So how exactly are TEs outrunning LBs?But specifically to this point, top TE's should be able to outrun a majority of LBs in the league, not necessarily a DB.
Top WRs yes but very very few TE ever out run ILBs it just doesn't happen.Helms speed is not great but the thing about him - and when things are faster in NFL one can ask how well this translates - is how fluid he is, he can bend and turn while keeping balance as a runner enough that he seems to gain an extra 2-5 yards at or near contact because of how he can maneuver.

Are you saying that you these 40 times and 3 cones should exactly correlate to being able to outrun LBs regardless of depth of target, pursuit angles, padded running and conditioning?Top LBs in the draft are right at about 4.5, top TEs 4.7 in the 40. 3 cones are about the same for both. 10yd, LBs are slightly faster on average. TEs rarely outrun the defense unless they are very wide open due to a blown defense or a stellar route run. Yards after contact? Sure. They’re typically bigger than both LBs and DBs. They get their yards after the catch via mismatches, dragging defenders, and breaking tackles - not running away from the defense.
I’m saying there are other factors. Running away from defenders ain’t one of them. Think about it. In the NFL, how many times do you see a TE run away from a defender? It’s pretty rare. Are you saying that you these 40 times and 3 cones should exactly correlate to being able to outrun LBs regardless of depth of target, pursuit angles, padded running and conditioning?
