Derek has to approve the team. If Tampa calls he might be inclined to go there. If Seattle calls and you know they will with the potential of Baker staying in LA that is a big ??? for Carr. If the Packers call he would probably approve. But IMO if the Rams call they would jump to the top of the list.

The advantage of Mayfield over Carr is Baker doesn't cost them a ton of draft capital. Baker is also a better scheme fit.

I think Carr ends up in GB or Tampa.

Carr is an alright QB. I'm sure a team like the Jets will be desperate to get him.

The defense blows multiple double digit fourth quarter leads and the QB gets benched.
The Raiders franchise is a mess.
Carr is a good QB....not a top 5 or 7 guy, but, like Goff, a very good second tier guy.
I could see him on the Jets or Colts next year.

Never been a fan of Carr. He's not the problem in Vegas but paying him that contract is part of the problem.

I think he's got a low ceiling. He's not great at anything really. He's not particularly smart or quick through reads or accurate or instinctive in the pocket. I like his anticipation on throws time to time but he's not consistent. Maybe you could say he's a playoff level QB, as in get you to the playoffs. But to win it all I'd have to go back to a certain ex-poster's reference of trailer or tractor. Carr is definitely a trailer. He would need a top team around him in all respects which is really tough to pull off in today's league.

If he's waived and a team claims him he has no say in it.....

Carr is not an elite quarterback. He kinda reminds me of Goff. People complain that he isn't good enough to win a Superbowl. Only good enough to get you to the playoffs. But be real. How many elite quarterbacks are out there? Brady will be a hot commodity but we're seeing signs of his age catching up to him.

Carr would be an upgrade for a number of teams. The teams at the top of the draft would probably prefer to take their chances with a cheaper rookie in the first round. But middling teams like Washington, both NY teams and the Titans might be a better playoff team with Carr than they are now. Maybe Pittsburgh unless they want to run with their young guy. Heck, whoever wins the NFC South won't be in the top 15 draft. All 4 of those teams could use an upgrade.

Carr is the best eyeliner wearing QB on the planet... period.

I don't want an eyeliner wearing QB on my team... period.
Beat me to it.

To me, Carr is just a younger Matt Ryan (and I guess his generation wears eyeliner). He can put up numbers, he can put up numbers, oh... And he can put up numbers.

Isn't there something with vets over so many years service time aren't on the waiver wire they're free agents?
There definitely is, I hadnt thought that through. Mostly because it doesnt matter, they will cut him because nobody will trade for that contract. As dumb as the Raiders are, even they cant mess this one up. lol
