Well damn - you have burst my bubble

I thought that was so cool too
Sorry. I forget what it was. I think I may have asked him or someone else did. He said he was not.

The guy had some really good content but was beyond disrespectful to anyone that challenged his assertions. I don’t think he was actually ever banned. Maybe he was or maybe he asked to be. I really don’t recall.

I agree. I was really high on Limmer taking the next step in year 2 but I have actually been disappointed in what I have seen from him. He may not be fully healthy, did anyone else take note of that brace on his arm. Just like Avilla he almost seems to have taken a step backward in year two (Avilla appears to be dialed in this year though). With the way Limmer is playing he may have lost his spot as the number 1 interior backup and could be fighting for a job. This Rams interior line is really deep. I Love how they just keep finding late round and UDFA talent to back fill the roster. I was thinking Bowles could be a sure-fire practice squad add but if he keeps grading this high he could very well get poached if he is cut.

PS: If Lampkin is dinged and can't practice does that mean that mean the rams have better chance of sneaking him on the practice squad?
Count me as a guy who thinks that it's most likely a team won't pick up Lampkin. I expect him to make the PS.

I suspect Lampkin bumped him off that backup role early on in camp. That plus the staff is probably still hurting from the interior's play in that crucial moment, so close to the Super Bowl in Philly. Some mistakes like that, the ones that happen in key moments of the biggest games, can stick with you.

But if Lampkin ends up on IR then that changes things obviously. I think Limmer is fine as a backup fwiw. Agree he's had a low performance in year two so far, but maybe that had to do with the staff sticking him at a different position after playing center most of last season. So not too concerned as he'll get plenty of time to work on his mechanics in the pivot and mental reps on calls if Lampkin's out of the picture early on.

Our depth on the interior is impressive really. Feel good about it, though I'm also hoping Lampkin's fine which who the F knows what the truth is on him at this point.

The good news on Lampkin is that his injury sounds to be pretty minor.

Guess we’ll see what the coaching staff thinks of him.

Oh great. Thanks for breaking my bubble.
Next thing you're going to tell me is that Dieterbrock isnt really Dieter Brock
Oh, wait a minute....
Oh, I thought he was the real Dieter since his takes are about as accurate as Brock's passes were...

Relax... just kidding.

This is one of things I love about mcvay. Players want to play for him, and you can see it in their demeanor

Well he stuck with Stetson when he had personal issues and has been rewarded by some pretty good play this preseason. He pretty much saved his career. Players remember coaches that stick with them in good and bad times. Shows character.

He is not eligible for the PUP since he has participated in preseason.

PLEASE EXPLAIN ???

He’s hurt - SO now what ??

Like I SAID this was actually a blessing. It happens every season & sometimes it feels like it happens more often than not.K T Leveston last season.

Just wondering (IR ?) IMO it’s sort of the same way ?

LMAO - -

I liked Real Jim's stuff a lot. It was next level info in many aspects. I get sometimes it got salty but I am pretty tolerant

His breakdowns reminded me of that dude that used to do camp reports from the Lou but didn't stick around after the move.

We lost a few good poster's through that period

It's not even about that. Saltiness, I can handle, but it's about basic respect and treating others with dignity if they don't agree with you entirely. Spoiling entire draft picks before any of us could see them and insulting people who told him to stop. Snapping at anyone who even slightly disagreed with him or questioned anything. Insulting the intelligence of others, even moderators. Things like that have never, ever been allowed here in the fifteen years I've been here, and Jim is not an exception to the rule.

He is a brilliant football mind, much more so than mine, and I'm sure he's a better person offline than he is online, but it's all about treating others with respect and dignity - and he failed at that in every regard here. He was not a fit. We moved on, and he moved on. Plain and simple.

I forgot about this, I have a super short attention span and memory for drama though.

I agree with everything you said about respect & dignity.
