He's not listed by PFF, but Wyatt Bowles, #60, has looked solid. Playing C & OG, and I have not noticed many mistakes. Hopefully a guy that can be stashed away for a year.

Surprised- He has been the starting LG in the preseason.

He took over for Lampkin playing Center when he got hurt.Impressive.

Your the first poster to even mention his name.

I was just wondering about Leveston in another thread... Imma have to look more carefully!! Big, young guy playing well.. I like the sound of that!
I was surprised Leveston was rated so high, because he gave up the pressure that almost led to a Bennett fumble, thankfully, Bennett's arm was moving forward. Other than that Leveston has had a good preseason. Not sure he can play LT against the one's, however, I liked the drive on run blocking and the fact he can play both Guard and Tackle is a plus.

Didn’t he get hurt playing CENTER?

Come on Man

Last I saw him he was playing guard. Like others have said he played mostly guard and moved to center forna couple snaps before he got hurt.

Not sure why the common man comment.

He must have blinked during the near interceptions
Yeah and when he followed up the awful INT with a turnover on downs, the game was lost. Had Harbaugh just run out the clock there, like he would of in a real game, the Rams dont get the ball back for a 3rd try
It was fun, I enjoyed the win, but their were some warts that dont show up in a box score for sure

The best part of this preseason for me is simple:

The Rams are not betting/hoping for veteran cuts across the league to fill out their roster. If some over paid stud CB or ILB were cut maybe. The only down side IMO is guys getting picked our the Rams practice squad. It's going to happen, especially at WR.

Well, I did post this 6 days ago. Noticed Bowles while watching all the Lampkin highlights! Bowles is having a pretty good preseason. Performed well again against the Chargers.

Go with your eyes if you know football imo. PFF is fool's gold.
The PFF score is properly adjusted for the near-INTs he threw. But that said I agree with what you say here. That score doesn't encapsulate what he looks like at QB. One of those guys who will just keep coming at your defense with that relentless competitiveness.

And that is what Martz always talked about. That element incites the other men on the field to block, be open, even get that ball back to him. As opposed to having your usual generic QB3 performance where hope is lost and you're just fighting to put up good film before you're cut.

I’m enjoying the preseason as well. The depth is looking good and the team is motivated and disciplined.

However, the part you said about hoping/waiting for veteran cuts hasn’t been a part of the Rams roster building strategy since McVay has gotten here, has it?

Well being THE COMMON MAN.

What’s your take on who is going to make the 53 from the offensive line.

Count 10 -

Wyatt is playing better than Limmer, but Beaux ain’t getting cut. I can say how good KT Leveston is looking.

Your little WILLIE is going to be on the PUP list or CUT. SO what does it even matter ?

He is not eligible for the PUP since he has participated in preseason.

Well it would be a waste. He’ll be a RAM though & given a chance.

The Rams have never (in a while) had SO much depth. From his injury it didn’t look good.

He’s not going to make The Rams roster not being 100% even if he wasn’t was(is) going to have a hard time still.

I love the story line.
