Well, I did post this 6 days ago. Noticed Bowles while watching all the Lampkin highlights! Bowles is having a pretty good preseason. Performed well again against the Chargers.

He is the one starting at LG both games. Last week Quess was at RT.

What’s cool is that Quess was starting at LT. Warren was at RT against the Chargers.

against Dallas I went to training camp & from a FAR saw Warren getting all the LT reps.During the DALLAS game Quess was starting at RT while KT was starting at LT.

Against the Chargers I saw KT come in at LT. I could be wrong AJ has been all over the place.

Seeing Wyatt taken out of the game while Willie was playing Center when he got hurt,it was Wyatt who came in to (scoring) end the drive.I watched half a sleep, but
all the CROSS-TRAINING going is KROMER from Day 1 with Mcvay.

Seeing it come to fruition is Super KOOL. It’s mainly because of The COACHING STAFF & The NEW PRACTICE SQUAD RULE.

It’s what makes THE RAMS a TOP 5 FRANCHISE in THE NFL. Makes what Mcvay & the coaching staff - standout.

Sad we chased Jim off this board, dude is a treasure for all his cut ups and knowledge. Click through for whole thread on Bowles.

Yeah - pretty awesome.

Wyatt will see that clip as well.It isn’t like he got beat & did much wrong.

Hunter is more of a North & South RB.Kyren & Corum have a little more patience. If he makes that read he could cut back. The is no way that DE is going to be able to go back the other first with KT on his back.

These small WR’s (Stoops,Covey)have trouble blocking.Davies Allen adds a lot more to the run game.

The Kool thing about Wyatt is he is a UDRFA like Dedich. Both players are solid & diverse.

Great cut ups,but it’s a lot harder to find the bad. I love the pancakes by Lampkins, but he is behind in the depth chart right now.

That’s the greatness of Mcvay, but when looking for young talent. The Rams give players good film.
The good is The Rams get these players, the bad is tougher cuts.

Your a CHAMP West Coast - thanks

Who KNEW this guy would be this good this early.Coming in for Lampkins at center was super impressive.

The Rams O”Line coaching staff has been good.Having Shelton in the locker room & bringing Brian Allen to help out only brings back the work & leadership from the start.Austin Blythe, but more importantly John Sullivan. Zak Kromer has been there from the start,But Munch & Ryan a stars…

Of course BIG WHIT is such a CLASSIC RAM.

This is one of those surprises that I don't know where to place. After looking at how they play in preseason and what people are saying.. I always like to look at their RAS, to kinda envision if they have baseline metrics.. and what kind of growth potential they have.
I know people love them some Lampkin.. but, right now? I'd say Bowles is much more of an NFL prospect. His RAS is really, REALLY good.. and the areas where he wasn't great.. weight and strength.. are areas that being in an NFL program can improve.

He looks like a real football player... AND.. he's got real places where easy growth is possible. This is a tough one!!!

Bowles and others make me wonder how many Pro Bowl talent folks have never made it past the NFL cuts. Look how close Warner was to never playing in the NFL.

The final spots on the online are very much in question and the most fascinating part of the cut down.

Right now, still think Lampkin is a PS guy, will be interesting to see if Bowles plays himself on the 53. Open to any revisions, of course!

I will say, haven't been in love with Limmer this offseason. I thought he could take another step and perhaps even have an outside chance of winning the starting spot at C but he's at best just been treading water these last few months. Boooooo!

Every year it seems there is surprise roster move. Maybe he could be that surprise in the form of a trade. If they really like Dedich & Bowles, maybe even Lampkin, and Leveston, Limmer could be traded to a center needy team.

Based on what he did last year, you probably could get a decent pick for him, like a 4th rounder. Of course the Rams would really have to like those other interior guys to do so, and still I wouldn't do it unless it's a decent pick, unless he is being outplayed by those other guys by a wide margin.

Wait, so if the hype on Willie Lampkin cools, and he ends up getting cut, does his five year hall of fame eligibility clock start NOW or at the end of the season? Thanks. I’ll hang up and listen on the air…

Flipping him for a 4th rounder would be an amazing return!

Just no clue right now how the last few spots on the oline will sort themselves out.

He did that himself with the way he acted. Brilliant man when it comes to football, but it doesn't matter how brilliant someone is if they can't treat others with respect and follow clear rules.
haha, oh man, I guess I missed the drama with him.

I agree. I was really high on Limmer taking the next step in year 2 but I have actually been disappointed in what I have seen from him. He may not be fully healthy, did anyone else take note of that brace on his arm. Just like Avilla he almost seems to have taken a step backward in year two (Avilla appears to be dialed in this year though). With the way Limmer is playing he may have lost his spot as the number 1 interior backup and could be fighting for a job. This Rams interior line is really deep. I Love how they just keep finding late round and UDFA talent to back fill the roster. I was thinking Bowles could be a sure-fire practice squad add but if he keeps grading this high he could very well get poached if he is cut.

PS: If Lampkin is dinged and can't practice does that mean that mean the rams have better chance of sneaking him on the practice squad?
