Anyone want care to decipher...Mcvay is good but it does sound like that ship has sailed. If he stays it's cause Mcvay will be demanding it.

My guess is that the Rams offered him a deal early that factored in the potential that he barely played in 2022. OBJ felt this was an insult because a player never factors in the chances that they are worthless. It sounds like the Rams are ready to provide an improved offer as soon as OBJ shows he is ready to return at a comparable level
We didn’t win the SB without him. Not at all. Edit: But I get at what you are saying!!I knew (OF) OBJ, to the extent everyone else did - one hand grab, orange Rolls etc., but honestly had no idea how fucking good he was till he joined the Rams last year.
Lots to agree with in all the above posts, pro and con. I'm praying we find a way to get/keep him, with some kind of out for if/when he reinjures himself.
That said, we DID win the SB without him for the most part (even though he did a ton for the time he was in).
Tough, tough call.
But man, he is SO good...![]()
Only reason why I have hope about him coming back strong is that they said they were going to have to repair that knee anyways. The CLE DOctor did a poor job. They said it was a blessing that it was a clean tear.He literally blew out his knee on a non contact play (doubt it happens if the throw wasn’t behind him, but still)
Not sure how you can go all in on this guy
