Wow so we move to the insults of talking to a woman? You are easy to ruffle huh lol. Apparently you don't read when I said I get it as a depth signing which is basically saying I'm on board with him replacing any of our backups. I called it a meh signing because as a whole, we are in deep shit if any of these backups play at all. For me, I just don't see it moving the needle much overall as a team besides slightly improving our depth. If you can't understand that, I can't help you. By the way, we just had a seasoned pro named Noteboom so seasoned pro means nothing. Don't be all butt hurt now because I don't agree with your opinion. Disagreements happen all the time, only insecure folks get up in their feelings about it. I'm ok if I end up being wrong but you seem to want to win some weird argument. How bout we do what grown people should do, say we disagree and move on.
Sure, move on, sounds good. but, of course he was signed as a backup. That goes without saying. Did you not understand that? Did you think he was signed to play ahead of Jackson or Havenstein? Really?

Its ok, you don't get a thing I said. Somehow you're fixated on something else.

I like it, I'm not super high on him but he's better than no one who is basically what we had before for backup LT talent. Hopefully we never have to see him but good to know they are addressing the issue best that they can at this point.

Edit: Also, it was reported he was signing with the Whiners months ago it seems like. So hopefully we stole him from them for extra fun.

I cant get too worked up about it one way or another. I don't believe he is a lock for the regular season roster. I think they will be carefully looking at other teams final roster cuts.

Our offensive line depth is so miserable that I am all for any signing anyone with his pedigree of starting experience. Age 31 isn't overly old. He might well have some gas left in the tank. In a backup role his body will have lots of time to get healthy. Good signing

I like this signing. I could be reading too much into it, but considering Hav's age, and a possible injury issue.... If McClendon didn't blow them away in OTAs, it's smart to add another Vet to our OT depth.

We got a real chance to do something this year, and you just can't take a chance on inexperienced O-line depth.

Love this signing for depth but also if Havenstein is experiencing more injury than being led on.

Do not love what this says about things coming out of OTAs (Hav, backups, everything).
Havenstein has 5 months to heal up. Humphreys is a former first rounder who was a pro bowler just a few years ago. He does have an injury history but should be healed up himself.
My biggest worry is that he was dumped by Kansas City. Is Kansas City that deep at OT that they can afford to ditch him or do they know something we don't?

I prefer both Tackles to still having noteboom around.
Now if we can remove from the roster reeder the mis-reader and
drug for 5yds if the tackle isn't whiffed.

Nah not knee jerk, just the truth. Don't be sensitive now lol......I guarantee you that if we knew he was our starter, we'd all be heavily concerned....hence the term JAG. To me, if you aren't a starter, that's what you are labeled as you can be easily replaced. I'll add that once again, I get it from a depth perspective. Every signing not going to be a starter.
If the guy was a former #1 pick, started every game he has ever played in AND made one Pro Bowl he seems to be far from a JAG to me.
Good signing, I will take it.
