There's no logic, just facts that If we dont play the softest fucking Secondary in the league, these situations don't fucking happen. We scored enough points to win but the defensive play calling lost the game. Plain and painfully simple.

So just taking a wild guess here but you haven’t seen 5 Offensive Linemen on the Injury/IR by chance have you? Combine this with drafting soup cans and Tutus the last few years and you get and limited offense. I’d expect someone with your high football IQ to understand this.
Two things can be true at once: this defensive scheme sucks when you're not playing with a large lead and the offense hasn't done enough to get us the cushion needed. McVay is to blame for his poor decisions on the offensive side of the ball. He's also to blame for letting Morris call such a shit defensive scheme. He's living in 2021 thinking this is a Super Bowl caliber team, scoring 30 points a game.
The offense had zero first downs in the 2nd half today IIRC. They can’t score points, they can’t run or block or get 3 or 4 yards when they need it.
If you think these games are being lost due to one or two bad defensive series per game, you might be delusional. The D has been predictable I’ll give you that much, but so is the offense and that cannot happen on that side of the ball.
McV’s biggest challenge at this point might be keeping the defense and offense from turning on each other in the locker room. The D is the ONLY thing giving this team a chance to win on gameday.
Playing 10 yards off on 3rd and 6 does not work with any qb so why would you think it would work with Brady. Morris shit the bed.
the offense scored 6 points in the 2nd half... the defense gave up 10 pts in the 2nd half.
The offense was definitely worse... but the defense choked as well.

Defense kept us in the game while the offense was shitting the bed. They had as many 3 and out drives as they did first downs. I don't know what's more pathetic that stat or people not more upset about it.
Yes 100% i am! Shit i don’t hate Raheem Morris by any means but his outdated Tampa 2 D variation needs to go. As we seen with a Fangio D and this talent they are amazing.

People can deflect to the O and its shitty performance all they want, and there is certainly plenty to back them up. But the bottom line with the D today is we had less than a minute and the opposition had no timeouts left and Morris's soft cushion bullshit let them drive right down the field.

Your looking at stats and not situational football which is exactly why the rams defensive calls lost this game
Riddle me this why hasn’t Morris been picked up yet if his scheme is great.. If you think he’s doing stellar. Coming off a SB win surely a team would have swept him up this year.
