I hate how many people say the Rams defense doesn't have talent. It has talent, especially on the Dline and in the back half of the secondary.

They badly need a number one corner back, and maybe at Linebacker, but honestly they aren't without talent. It's a lazy way to create a narrative.
Isn’t the guy with the mullet a SF fan? When he was talking about SF he kept saying “we” a lot.

And that's why I'm still single, I would NEVER date let alone marry a Niners fan woman, no matter how hot. I'm doing just fine and dandy. :sunglasses:

This popped up on my YouTube recommendations. Pretty enjoyable watch. Apologies if already posted.

The panel didn’t address an extremely important difference between the two HCs—winning in the 4th QTR/holding leads.

2021 was McVay’s 5th season and it wasn’t until the last game vs the 9ers that he lost a game in which he led at halftime. He is not prone to giving up games once his team has established control.
Shanny has blown multiple 4th quarter leads. The Rams current 3 game win streak vs the 9ers is built on 4th quarter comebacks!

Resilience is another key component in McVay’s team that is lacking in the 9ers. The Rams have not always come out firing on all cylinders. This is a MUST for the 9ers—score early and establish control. Especially this year, the Rams have won games even though they have had a poor start.

One signature come from behind/slow start type game that comes to mind is the 2018 NFCCG in New Orleans. The Rams were on the verge of being blown out early. That environment, in a game of that magnitude…there is nothing shanny has shown that would make me think the 9ers don’t get blown out in that game.

McVay is conditioned to fight for 4 quarters and win tight games. Shanny is a choker.

McVay is smarter than Shanny or any other coach in this league. He has his flaws because he is human, but he is the best coach in football.
I think he has learned not to get so cute on the goal line. We have all seen it. Run down the field and first and goal and get in the shotgun, throw cute timing passes . Then kick a FG.
Not seeing that as much lately and that is a great thing. Keep it simple.
Side note: Shanahan is a human and a fucking Niner. Referring to him as a r@t face is not cool. No one wants something said like that about them.

I've had rats as pets, and trust me, calling Shanahan "Ratface" is more of an insult to them than it is to him.

You ‘re right. He has earned the right to be called Coach Ratboy.

So both McVay and Snead talked about AD and both talked like if he wanted to come back, they'd welcome him. It doesn't sound to me like they see a rule standing in their way. Again, I don't see it happening. But I think I'm going with them knowing the rules better than Ram hating Foolio.

Now, I think both of them talked in such a way that they knew it was just the usual media coming up with shit near the end of the season. But the only one that seems to think there is an actual rule preventing it is Foolio.

It also doesn't make sense that a 10 year vet would have to go to the waiver wire after retiring. It just doesn't pass the smell test - much like half the crap Foolio spews out of his pie hole.

The impressions I've gotten on the multiple interviews I've seen of McVay and Snead about the AD subject is that McVay wouldn't even breach that conversation with AD, but Snead sounds like he for sure would.

The problem is that screen shot I posted stating week 13 is the latest time a retired/reserve list player can be reinstated back to a team.

Since It's past that time the only thing we could do this season is release him hoping he'll get through waivers and then resign him as a FA, which you know at least 6-8 are going to claim him on waivers. (Snead talked about that week6ish?) This was repeated by McVay in the Coach McVay show this week I think ( I watch a ton of their vids) where he stated that window has come and gone to reinstate AD as per the rules of the NFL.

Next year is a possibility now but doesn't do shit for us now.

Right? I mean, there are 3 things that are a certainty on this board....

1. No politics.
2. No religion.
3. Bare fisted bashing of any and EVERYTHING related to the cheese and whiners.
I must say the "I hate this team or this player or coach" is childish to me. In my old age I don't really fan like this anymore unless I really have a reason. Also I've seen so many actual fights and dumb shit over sports it's not worth it. So I agree in some ways that the hate narrative is unhealthy. Sometimes other people being assholes get lumped in by association. It's sometimes celebrated behavior that has actual consequences.

However, I couldn't care less if someone makes fun of a coach's face. I generally don't like political correctness anyway.

I don't care what you say. I hate the whiners, the cheatriots and still hate Crybrady.
