Was listening to the LockedOnRams podcast yesterday, and as DMac said, the SF on the 9ers helmet now stands for "season finished!"

He can come back. But due to him being on the retired list he couldn't be on the post season roster he would have had to be active before this weeks games I think it was for that to happen.

AD at this point would have to clear waivers to be able to play for the Rams.
Until Wednesday he could have returned to Rams without having to go through waivers.
Yeah. I've seen that bandied about. I even said it in the very post to which you're both responding.

Got the actual rule? I couldn't find it after a brief search.

Just because Deion had a similar situation some 20 years or so ago, doesn't mean the two situations are identical or that there haven't been rule changes/modifications.

I was asking if anyone has actually seen the rule. It appears the answer is no.

I don't think it's even a realistic idea but I'm still curious.

This is what makes it more unrealistic than anything. They missed the week 13 time frame for this.

This is where I get it from. Florio is always looking at league rules, so I’m quite sure it’s accurate

So weddle hadnt officialy retired when he played just in the playoffs?
He might have said he was but he wasn't under contract with a team therefore he didn't need to be put on a teams retired list for salary reasons.

No offense to you but Foolio is a Ram hating idiot. I actually have seen him pull shit out of his ass to denigrate the Rams before. I don't trust that MFer for shit. I'm not saying he's not accurate in this particular case. But I'm also not just going to take his word for it. I would just like to see the rule as it is stated by the NFL. It's not going to happen anyway but I'm curious as to if there is actually a rule preventing it.
