Still, you would like to see some more turnover worthy plays. For Christ's sake, TJ Watt has 7 career interceptions to Curl's 3, and he's a pass rusher, rarely drops into coverage. You mean he's not drawing penalty flags and hurting his team with big nasty hits? Clearly he's good for the Rams were should cut or trade him though?
I don't know what the Rams will do but you giving those 2 reasons to cut a box safety is amazing.
He actually is put in coverage every game. How many of his interceptions were balls tipped at the los and he happened to be in the right place?Still, you would like to see some more turnover worthy plays. Why not just keep a running list of cuts going?Any chance we can get a separate cut thread just listing the players cut and put onto the practice squad and then lock it.
We can still discuss the cuts in this thread.

I personally think Curl is an average, not good box safety. Nothing exciting and nothing horribly wrong. Maybe Watts ints were because of tipped balls, but he was there to make a play. Curl just doesn't make any splash plays or turnover worthy plays. 3 ints in 2020 as a rookie and NONE since. I would rather see Ingle make the 53 as at least he ain't afraid to lay someone out.He actually is put in coverage every game. I'm not trying to be a Kurl apologist but this lack of support for a good box safety is interesting.
So we want to cut a box safety because he isn't used in coverage and because he doesn't lay people out even though we know the NFL likes to penalize players for that.I personally think Curl is an average, not good box safety. I never said cut him, I said he is an average box safety, nothing more, nothing less. I also mentioned I wouldn't mind seeing Ingle make the team, not necessarily at Curls expense. No stupid penalties, great, no splash plays, not so great. I guess we just see different things in him, nothing wrong with that.So we want to cut a box safety because he isn't used in coverage and because he doesn't lay people out even though we know the NFL likes to penalize players for that.
He doesn't hurt the team and get fined so he's not a good enough box safety got it.
Ok well you replied to me talking with someone suggesting we could move on from him.I never said cut him, I said he is an average box safety, nothing more, nothing less. This is why I'm glad to get the Rams broadcast, that was a great interview with Snead.

I was going to just quote the thread but saw my initial post didn't have the day.Lol, that was actually incorrect. Cant trust AI!
None. All we have is the typical bias some have to the new, younger players. I call it the 'shiny new toy' syndrome. I get it though......What proof do we have that whomever would replace him would be better?
