From that article: Leveston does have the added benefit of position flexibility, being able to play tackle or guard. That’s not something Quessenberry can do

Am I confused? I thought Queensberry can and has played inside and outside. Maybe it was just RT and LT.
He has played all over since OTA’s.
Haven’t seen much of Leveston as much inside.I just like his upside.

People want to say my opinion of when I knew how much KT want to be a NFL player is when he cut off his dreads.

You may think it’s BS,or that I’m crazy. The reality is how simple the D”Line is committing them self to SACKS.

Silly question, but actually an average one who really folly the Rams like a lot of us on ROD all season.

I’ts what is The Bet the D”front has within the group. K.Turner said it when he was getting interviewed against the Chargers. There are other interviews as well from the group.

I know.. they would have to put him on active roster… I just don’t see the fit. They like the fast guys… outside zone guys.

The fit is special teams. I don’t know what to think any way else ?

The Rams have there 3 Top RB’s for the next 3 seasons.

If Schrader does well against Cleveland's backups, I think he is in over Rivers. Plus, I believe he offers more special teams ability.

I thought he started at RG in the 1rst preseason game and he played both inside and out on the vikes last year.

In this scenario are we not keeping Schrader? Schrader and Rivers would be sufficient behind Williams and Hunter IMO. That said, I'm not sending out Corum for some late round pick. They'd have to give decent draft capital for me to move off of him this season.
I don't think the Rams are limited to three RBs. They carried four RBs on the 53 most of last year.

I don't assume Williams has 350 touches again in 2025. That's a lot.

It seems early to move-on from Corum, who had more carries as a rookie than Williams; and it seems unlikely the Rams would recoup anything close to the 83rd overall pick they used to draft Corum.

I am also hopeful McVay spreads-out the carries a little more in 2025, and the Rams run the ball more.

But ... the Most Important Thing .... That YOU MUST REMEMBER is this ...

Agree, the Rams would not get back such a high pick for Corum to justify trading him. Furthermore, it would just make drafting him in the first place a waste. Let’s see what Hunter brings to the table this year before we write off any RBs.

As for spreading the ball around, hmm. As long as he can carry the load, KW should get it. He is clearly the best back on the team right now. The dream scenario, I suppose, would be the ability to run 30+ times a game instead of throwing it that many times. Then there would be plenty of carries to go around—including “garbage time.”

Corum will have a role this year. I believe he spells KWill significantly. Hunter is in learning mode. Rams will keep a 4th in case of injury. Schrader will be picked up if cut. Rivers will not. So keep Schrader on the 53 and stash Rivers on PS. Lock and load.

Yeah, they won't want to rely on a rookie to pick up blitzes if Williams gets hurt. Corum to my knowledge was known as a good blocker and he has a year under his belt in this offense.

I really dont think the rams are making trades of key players in a year they hope to win it all. The only scenerio where we trad away our key back ups is to fill a hole in the roster, not picks.

I thought he started at RG in the 1rst preseason game and he played both inside and out on the vikes last year.
Data per PFF Snaps by Position:

The interior starters in both preseason games are Bowles, LG, Limmer, C, and Dedich, RG.

It appears Dedich is fully crosstrained at both guard positions. In 2024, he only had snaps at LG in preseason and the regular season. Now they have him at RG and are slowly working him in at Center. He's had 9 snaps at Center in both preseason games this year. It's pretty clear that they're very high on Dedich.

Quessenberry is only an OT. The last time he took interior snaps was one game at RG in 2022 with Buffalo.

Leveston has only gotten snaps at LT in preseason games. Everyone says he has positional flexibility, but so far the coaches haven't given him that opportunity.

My takeaways: Dedich and Limmer have for sure made the team. Possibly Bowles has too. Leveston hasn't. It's a maybe on Quessenberry.

If Alaric Jackson is ready to go, I don't think Leveston or Quessenberry make the final cut.

While doubtful, I'm hoping that the team can obtain another EDGE via the waiver claim process.

Excellent point.
Even Corum rarely saw action as a pass blocker last season. Hunter will probably be handled the same way—if you see him running onto the field, he’s probably getting the ball, play action at the very least.

Not from what I’ve seen. I hope he has been working hard on that. There sure seems to be a huge drop off in that when DW leaves the game.
ANOTHER, and maybe the MOST important reason why it’s tough to take snaps away from KW.

Thanks for straightening that out; however, I thought I saw Quessenberry playing on the right side and on the interior in these games. Maybe their eyes at PFF are better than mine.

I too, have been high on Dedich. For being thrown into the starting lineup so early last year, I thought he did an excellent job. I do remember seeing him at RG in this preseason and was surprised but impressed, nonetheless. He’s making the 53. IMO, he is already an important and critical asset because of his versatility and real game experience.

Neither Leveston nor Bowles has “film vs #1s”. Us fans don’t know how they would fare against starters, but neither do any NFL teams. They should be safe to start the year on the PS. I would not say that about Limmer and Dedich.

Quessenberry is the odd situation. He’s a proven vet who can certainly play in the NFL, just not an all star. The Rams acquired him before we got the bad news on AJ, didn’t they? With too much unknown quantities at depth, he made sense. Surprise, surprise, the Rams have some developmental players looking very good. Maybe Quessenberry is the odd man out if AJ is good to go.
That isn’t the decision I would make, just throwing it out there as a possibility.

I have selective hearing. Just ask the wife. But I thought I heard a lot of talk about how good Quesenberry was playing in the preseason.
