Everyone copies the new hot plays from each other in this league. So whatever anyone does everyone is doing to some extent.
But as far as attacking defenses is concerned there is so much copycat in this league that it largely comes down to players executing.
I get that this is true for a lot of teams but it's shocking how untrue it is for a few bottom feeders: NY Jets last two years, Chicago this year (before Thomas took over as playcaller but then again when he became HC), Dallas this year, Raiders this year (before Norv Turner came back and then it was the greatest hits from the 90s which sorta seemed novel since they weren't being used!)
