not even close to what I'm saying... but I'll give you a golf clap for a solid effort. So what you are saying we need to start adding "could've, would've, should've" to numbers to the records books now?
Agents are going to love this!
This is a great idea....count me in!!Get him ready to become the WR coach at some point in the future...
That’s exactly what your saying however…. Herenot even close to what I'm saying... but I'll give you a golf clap for a solid effort.
This is WHY his numbers are down. Hes in a blocking Fullback role right now per-se. Get JW out there in that role instead and let him knock the shit outta people. He may be great duo threat with Kyren up the middle, and Jordan the outside threat. They wont know if we are running with either, or passing. Puka and Kupp can do thier thing.Kupp does so much more without the ball that without him this team would not be nearly as good on offense.
Extension hell naw time to move on need some new blood with speed and athleticism Whittington can takeover for kiluppI think the Rams will have to give him an extension for him to stay with the team.
He’s making 20 mill next year, and it’s tough to justify that with his production
He’s restructured twice already and only has 2 years left so there’s not too much they can do on that account.
As for the idea of him retiring and becoming a WR coach? People got to stop with that stuff. It’s embarrassing
With the misspelling you are either disrespecting Kupp or you need to check your text before hitting post. You are a Rams fan - so respectfully - tighten up Rookie if you want to be taken seriously.Extension hell naw time to move on need some new blood with speed and athleticism Whittington can takeover for kilupp
Not sure I would call it an extension, more like a salary adjustment, in other words, a paycut. Happens all the time in this league. A guy wants to stay, but production can't justify the contract so you make adjustments to it. Remove a roster bonus, lower his salary a few million per yr, maybe add a year as you suggest, but in reality it's a paycut.I think the Rams will have to give him an extension for him to stay with the team.

Agree, sounds like a nice idea, but he doesn't want to deal with that. Now I could see him coming to camp and work with a few guys here and there. Maybe show up to a few OTAs to say hello and give some pointers, but he will not be a coach showing up for the daily grind as a position coach. As for the idea of him retiring and becoming a WR coach? I think Stafford sticks around a little longer. Seems he really wants to be a hall of famer and he's close to being a no doubt type guy, but still not quite a guarantee. Needs another deep playoff run or two. I think he sees the youth and potential here to give it at least another year or two. There’s a good probability that if Kupp retires, Stafford Retires.
Pretty much this.Lets talk after the playoffs.
