I'm starting to question whether I want OBJ back.

Joke or no joke. Be smart snd stay the fuck off social media while your trying to negotiate a new contract. It shows a level of immaturity and insecurity that he should know how to manage better. Tighten up OBJ and I’m sure the Rams will continue to be very good to you and for you.

When we signed him - we all heard the diva / cancer talk and all he did was ball out and fit in perfectly. We all know that we are not champs without him having signed here. Let him be himself and embrace him for what he brings.

I want him back.

Yea we're obviously offering him some small ass 1 yr prove it deal. Now that he's officially come out on the record and said he wants to be in LA, do we change the offer at all? 2 year deal or something worth more $? He's such a great fit for our offense and by all accounts his ACL surgery went amazing.

Yeah but posting that shit on social media really stupid. If you wanna sign with us, just keep it in house. This is the first thing he's done that is idiotic since being associated with the Rams.

I dont think its really that bad. Everyone assumed we gave him a low ball offer and this just confirms it. McVay, Snead, and Stafford have all expressed interest in him coming back. But until this point we hadn't heard from OBJ on what the hold up is. I just see it as putting pressure on the Rams. Because the further we get from his injury the more inclined another team will be to give him a bigger contract. Teams like GB, and KC, SF have all expressed interest. We saw how effective he was in our offense. Imagine him in year 2 or 3. If we want him we need to get the fucking deal done, I bet it doesn't have to be a huge offer. But for him to describe it as not even a 'real offer' means its likely a 1-yr incentive based deal which doesn't make sense for him because he'll only be playing in ~10 games this yr.

Gotta disagree there. No reason to put a team on blast for a contract offer. Be a professional and keep negotiating in good faith. If it doesn't work out, be grateful to have a SB championship and move on. Him commenting to the world like this has no positive impact whatsoever.

Nobody knows what he meant by it..

He could have just as easily meant, give me a real offer and not just talk about an offer.

LOL.. Here come the drama queens..
The Rams are built on a certain kind of culture and it involves character. If you don’t understand that then you haven’t been paying close enough attention.

The Rams signed Allen Robinson for a reason. This is why. He gave them security in case OBJ’s head got too big. He’s coming off a knee injury and he sees what a few receivers are getting and wants a ‘Real Contract’. He hasn’t had Tyrique Hill type numbers since he entered the league. A prove it deal is in order, or at least an incentive deal. Letting Akers have the number is genius. It shows OBJs true colors.

And it does not necessarily mean what you think it means.
It means he’s not happy with what he’s been offered. Or that the Rams have yet to make their offer. Either way it’s unprofessional to spout off about being upset about his number and turning it into griping about his contract.

If Cam Akers did stop texting I’m going to guess it’s because he doesn’t like what OBJ was texting back. Easy assumption.

So if nobody knows, why are you calling those who express concern “drama queens.”

Kyler Murray just made an even spectacle and still stayed in AZ. This is just how negotiations go in the league these days.

The Rams are gonna break the NFL yet again by paying 3 WRs solid money... no Davante Adams deals, but solid deals.

and for real... who beats us if we've got Kupp, ARob and OBJ out wide and Stafford dropping dimes?

Yeah, OBJ's just tryin' to get paid, that's all. This is a tempest in a teapot.

It's crazy people are even comparing the two. Kyler has faded late in seasons, been horrible in the playoffs, been a bad leader and has terrible body language on the field. Multiple reports have come out about his leadership issues. OBJ has been a great fit and teammate since he got here. He was a huge piece which lead to a SB win and we don't win the SB without him that is a fact. The guy said today he loves LA and wants to be here, he just wants a legit offer. Not a 1 yr incentive based BS lowball offer which is what we obviously gave him. There's no way he's asking for top of the market WR money, the tone of his tweet was playful during a back and forth with Deebo.
