You're right, it is. You're ignoring actual facts to try to justify your narrative with nothing to back it up. It's laughable.
In the SB
Did he like a deer in the headlights on the no look throw to Kupp
when everybody in the world knew he was throwing to Kupp
Or the go ahead touchdown to Kupp

I don't think some of you understand what Deer in headlights even means
It means to have the feeling and look of being overwhelmed and/or scared.
I have seen that look in Goff's eyes many times.
But Never in Stafford's
With Goff it's more being overwhelmed. he isn't the brightest QB
And he doesn't have that "IT" factor.

You see a QB who has that deer in headlights mentality doesn't
have the 6th most 4th quarter comebacks in the league history
A stat started in 1950.
But hey Goff is tied for 89th. I'm sure he will get there

Your example doesn't even describe what the term means.

Not apples to apples. Goff has been in the league half the time and played on winning teams the entirety of his career.

Interesting, the comments on Goff, about how he can't win without a perfect system, perfect personnel, can't hang in there when things break down ...

I encourage you to look at Stafford's numbers in 2022, when things were falling apart here.
Just look at his 15 year career or just the 1st half of last season. What has Stafford done outside the year where it could be argued we were the best team in the nfl? It's a fair question that apparently can't be answered without a laundry list of excuses.

Nope ... most Rams fans are so polarized by Stafford winning a SB here, that they can't even see his flaws anymore.

Not the best offense.
Especially once OBJ was out.

If you don’t see or understand the qualitative differences between the QBs at this point, we can’t help you.

Thank God for Rams fans McVay & Snead knew.

Sure thing.

Maybe Johnson actually was the OC.

“But that’s simply the foundation. In a three-day offseason mind meld last offseason, Goff and Johnson spent the first two days going over aspects of the Rams offense that Goff liked and concepts that Johnson didn’t fully understand. But the third day was spent on true evolution, on what Johnson’s career had taught him—not just new wrinkles, but different systems, different teaching paradigms, new ideas grafted onto existing philosophies. The first two days were spent on the Rams offenses of the past; the third day was spent on starting to design the Lions offense of the future.”

All you did was prove my point boss. Goff and johnson built that playbook. It's not a mcvay/Goff situation where it was all mcvay and Goff was just the ab in the system. In detroit Goff is the system.

Then most teams are run by idiots - got it

Not at all - but if you asked what this preference is for fans and owners you will get two different answers:

Do you want to be guaranteed to be discussed in the media and get primetime games but never win it all?

Or would you rather take risks to have a shot at winning it all, but potentially be bad?

Owners are taking the first option all day every day because it's about money. Having a Dak/Goff/Cousins caliber QB is good business. Having Josh Allen/Lamar is good business.

But these guys are more likely than not to combine for zero Super Bowl wins in their careers.

The Bills are the perfect case study...their fans probably won't even enjoy the regular season much this year because not much there matters at this point. We know they are a good regular season team and the fans are starting to get restless with the playoffs failures. But every game is sold out and they're on primetime five times a year. If that owner cared about winning it all, McDermott would have been fired when his defense couldn't stop the Chiefs with 13 seconds left

Goff is better rn. It simply can't be debated withoutlooking bias. Just like it couldn't be argued Stafford was better 3 years ago.

Sorry, sparky… he didn’t build shit. Read the article.
Johnson worked on learning what Goff was comfortable and successful with, and built his own offense.
Goff didn’t build shit.

You’re beyond parody at this point.

Lmao if you think Goff didn't help him build the playbook with the info that's on the internet than you're just being willfully ignorant at this point. But again I already know you're gonna ignore facts to justify your narrative which you have clearly proved.

But ... he is. This isn't 2021. Goff had a better 2023 season, and beat Stafford in the playoffs.
The Lions beat the Rams.
And, no.. he didn’t.
And, if the penalty gets called on the Puca play… it’s a different outcome.

Again.. if you don’t understand the difference in what each QB is being asked to do and how difficult those things are, I can’t help you.

You have no basis. You do realize that Stafford played like horseshit the first half of last season, right? It wasn't until Kyren got healthy, and a consistent running game emerged, that Stafford began to play well. You know, like how a running game takes the pressure off of the O-line, and opens up play action? And makes it easier on a QB?

If things are so difficult for Stafford, and so easy for Goff, what does that say about our coaching staff?

Makes a huge difference.

And.. yeah.. there are stats like big time throw rate that Stafford easily topped Goff.

In Rating.. Goff did better… in QBR and PFF scores, Stafford was better.

I honestly can’t believe there are Rams fans who can’t see the difference.

But here we are.

If was a 5th we all be drunk. If you don't understand that going 0-3 in the rz is the main reason we lost then you can't be helped. Like I said to the other poster. When it comes to Stafford it's nothing but excuses to why he can't get it done.

Explain the difference. Lions won more games then the Rams. Goff won a playoff game, Stafford didn't. Stafford played like shit when things weren't going well around him. Do tell.

Lmao qbr...pff? One is a ESPN made up stat and the other has a history of being bias and can literally grade however they want because they created the grading system. So basically it's all subjective af. Not all rams fans are bias but here we are.
