This whole Wagner visit, and the lack of updates has been nerve-wracking. Now, I can't even read the latest either. What the hell?

both are Chargers fans .. :
First one: "I would be way pissed off if we signed Bobby Wagner than if we got to the draft the way we are."
Second: "
...
PFF talked about Bobby Wagner, but I prefer reinforcement at OL "

apparently they don't like the idea of B. Wagner signing over there..lol

Bobby Wagner focused on team success: ‘I just want to win’

Bobby Wagner spent Wednesday afternoon visiting the Los Angeles Rams, his first visit with a team as a free agent. It didn’t end in Wagner signing with the Rams (yet) but he’s clearly interested in what they’re building in Los Angeles, and the team likes him as a player, too.

When weighing his options in free agency, Wagner seems focused on joining a contender. At LAX on Wednesday, TMZ Sports asked him what his ideal landing spot is, and he simply said “not sure.”

He then said “I just want to win” if there’s a team that stands out, not giving away any hints as to where he’ll sign. The Rams are clearly a contender ready to win right now, attempting to go back-to-back as Super Bowl champions.

Wagner would also have the added benefit of facing his former team, the Seahawks, twice a year if he joins the Rams. Given the way things went down with his release from Seattle, it’s reasonable to think he’d love the chance to beat the Seahawks two times a year.

The 49ers and Cardinals are also reportedly interested in Wagner, so he has his options. But considering the Rams are the only team he’s visited, they might be at the top of his list.

I'm not sure what to make of that. If we really wanted him, I'm not sure he gets out of the building.

Is the AD contract extension a pretext to signing anymore free agents? Woods trade was a money move. Maybe he told them what he wants and they said, "okay....we just have to move some money around"? Or maybe it's not a fit financially either way?

Lot of folks see him as a two down LB. Chance the Rams see him that way, judging from him leaving without a deal. They're only gonna pay him in a certain range for that. Maybe he'll come circling back if other teams are in that ballpark too.

Bobby will be a ram. I stake all my metaverse value that this will be fact before the weekend is over.

I appreciate the sentiment... that said, I hate the metaverse with the fire of a billion suns... but I have that same hate for Facebook and no one listened to me about that shitshow either...

I really hope Wagner will be a Ram.

Dude is so solid in the middle that it will highlight the need for an Edge who's solid against the run. That may be Clowney.

I think we have money for Wagner, Clowney and Gilmore, but we'll see. I kinda like the patient approach....LOL, no I fucking don't... I hate it, but I'm glad they're using it...

I keep getting this vision of a heroin addict, lined up to get his Methodone fix..... shaking, scratching sores, slightly desperate, saying, "When we signing Wagner, dammit! At least give me some Clowney you bastids!"

Truth be told, I have zero metaverse value. I've been off Facebook for years. I think they're getting bobby and another starter at either edge or cb.

I would love to see Bobby in horns but think at this stage he should be starting alongside and behind Jones (who looks like a future pro-bowler in every way)

If so, then Bobby will have to take no2 ILB money which makes me skeptical as you whether he will accept this in order to play winning football. After all, Dallas (for instance) play winning football even though I cannot see them winning it all. There, Bobby would be the clear no1

He is extremely rich and an astute businessman who doesn’t need a big pay day but I can’t help wondering if that would go against his grain?
