Most if not all of these kids had “a choice” actually multiple choices.

The stories of kids not having money to eat no matter how frequent or infrequent is really disheartening.
The athletes should have had meals and housing minimum.

My son says the pre made meals (possibly provided by coaches/trainers/nutritionists) are taking up his whole fridge and they have to battle for space lol.

As for NIL like many things, it is a mixed bag.
The college system has never really made sense ethically or legally and it doesn’t exist anywhere else.
In other countries if you have talent you can make money. Luka was a teenager playing professionally in Europe. We have this multi billion dollar industry that they now have to try to fix to keep making billions.

The one thing I did not like about Manning in this game was all the side arm throws he made.

Would think his uncles and grandfather would have broken him of that habit.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. His results didnt phase me one way or the other but I thought his throwing motion was pretty wonky

Because the purpose of college for 99% of its enrollments is to get an education

BTW, the most satisfying thing about the UNC debacle was watching Mike Lombardi, Bill Belicheck's "GM" at UNC, witness that his 70 new players, that he brought in, have a ways to go to be competitive.

I loved how UNC took the opening series, drove down the field like clockwork and scored. Looked like they were on their way. Michael Jordan, Roy Williams, Mia Hamm, all celebrating and then they got lit the F up
Was awesome
