Depending on a lot of factors, we might actually be best suited to trade Agent Zero next year and let another team pay for him.
Considering we have to sign Nacua, Turner, and possibly others (including, but not excluded to: Avila, Evans, McCollough, Speights, Allen, McClendon, and Dotson) to extensions in 2026 as well as guys like Landman, Lake, and possibly McCreary after this year, and also considering that Fiske, Verse, and Forbes are eligible in 2028, and even more consideration as to how old Young will be in his free agent year (he will be twenty-nine when he turns free agent), we might actually decide to get a Parsons-like deal for him.
Josaiah Stewart was already drafted to possibly replace him, and the edge class in next year's class is stupid deep and good.
