Judging by the Ram’s play this year I’m saying that OC should be the first pick in the draft.
Rams R1 pick and OC position don’t align but R2/R3 sounds good.Judging by the Ram’s play this year I’m saying that OC should be the first pick in the draft.
If the Rams aren't going QB in round 1, I can see a trade down with the Atlanta pick to get a later 1st and a future #1. It all depends on how high that pick ends up being. If Stafford is playing again, do the Rams again swap for a future #1?
The Rams have to be prepared for his retirement. They also need to have him play as long as possible.
I would have been okay with a lesser pick if they had beaten the whiners.
That feels like the ceiling to me.

The Rams really paid up to keep Tru Johnson because they didn’t draft any CB’s really since Les Snead’s rookie year as GM.They got a nice COMP Pick for him though. The Ramsey example leans into my point. Notice the way they tend to get CBs? Trades, the occasional free agent, and mid to late round draft picks.
I find it telling that in 9 years, they've had 24 1st to 3rd round picks, they havent used one 1st or 2nd round pick on the position, and only one 3rd has been used on a CB.
Currently the Falcons are picking #13.
It feels like the Vikings, Ravens, and Commodes have the best chance to pull past them.
Maybe the Giants and Cardinals.
The Falcons could be #7-9 probably best case?

I'd rather get a guy in the building and let him learn under Staff for a year or 2. Lot of good traits he can pass on.If Stafford is playing again, do the Rams again swap for a future #1?

I fully expect Ravens, Giants, Cards, and commodes to have more wins then Falcons. Tankathon has ATL pick at 12 currently, so I could see pick 8 as a real possibility. Dolphins have shown that they can win games, but they can also implode in any game. After they fire their coach, I think they could go on a mini run. I think 6 is best case, but would bet on 8-9.Currently the Falcons are picking #13.

Fuck that. Falcons must be rooted hard against. Imagine how fun it will be on draft night if we have a top ten pick.I'm torn. I find myself rooting against the Falcons and for them at the same time.
Isn't this Morris's 2nd year in ATL?Fuck that. Falcons must be rooted hard against. Imagine how fun it will be on draft night if we have a top ten pick.
Also Blank's a reasonable owner. He won't fire Morris his first year when he had to play a rookie QB.
Its his second year. And what if when shula gets hired as HC in miami we get morris back.Fuck that. Falcons must be rooted hard against. Imagine how fun it will be on draft night if we have a top ten pick.

Time flies.Isn't this Morris's 2nd year in ATL?
Hell no. I want them to lose every game. I could give AF about Morris' job. I'm not rooting for him either way.I wish the Rams made the same trade with another team.

Would love the higher selection for the Rams, but I don't want Raheem Morris to fail and get fired this offseason.
Nah. I'd prefer another "new" DC. Pleasant? Giff Smith? Our old DL coach?what if when shula gets hired as HC in miami we get morris back.
I'm rooting for Raheem, too, which is why when we first made the trade I was dismayed that it was the Falcons. But at the end of the day, it's all about what's best for the Rams. Besides, we don't know for sure that Morris will be fired if they have a bad year.I wish the Rams made the same trade with another team.

I dont want that either. It wasnt hopeful it was a reason for atlanta not to suck.Nah. I'd prefer another "new" DC. Pleasant? Giff Smith? Our old DL coach?
